I've had several experiences with this doctor and he's the absolute worst doctor I've seen in my 30 years of being a patient. If I could give him a worse score, I would. If you have to ability or opportunity to find a different interventional radiologist, I strongly urge you to do so. This doctor withholds medications during extreme pain. Instead, he started yelling at me to calm down and stop moving on the table. There had been no sedation or pain control for a procedure that lasted over an hour. When I had first arrived at their office, he took notice of how scared and nervous I was, but still gave me nothing at all. This instance has caused damage to my abdominal muscles, popping a stitch from a bi-lateral nephrectomy I had the week before, now I have a sliding hernia. August 2020 this doctor told me that an aneurysm was a blood blister. A week and a half later I woke up at 4:30am with a burst aneurysm bleeding uncontrollably. How I lived through that, I'm still not sure. Please, please, do not go to this man if you have the choice. This is just my personal experience with him, but all other patients I know personally, also refuse to see this man again after their own negative experiences.

I couldn't be happier with the treatment I received from Dr. Hathaway. He is very knowledgeable and I knew I was in good hands as soon as I met him. I never felt rushed and he was open to any question I had.

This doctor is rude, inconsiderate and does not care if things go well or you have complications. As long as he has been paid. He won't even walk out of the room to see you after care while you are in a great deal of distress. An inconsiderate jerk who really screwed me up and takes zero responsibility. Other doctors since have been helpful and have been able to provide appropriate care. Your nuts if you go see him.

Dr. Hathaway and his staff are very professional and compassionate. They answered all my questions and bent over backwards to accomodate my schedule. Dr. Hathaway spent as much time as was necessary to explain my tests and procedures and I never felt rushed. Dr. Hathaway and his staff have my complete trust.
