List of A CLARK Gunnerson's Reviews
Lost results of test. Hospitalized for internal bleeding. The answers to an important test is lost. Someone's carelessness is just inexcusable. My Insurance will pay for something I did not get any results from, so it was of no use to me. Seeing only a NP and never having any answers from the Doctor. It is very very unprofessional. They double downed, the Doctor had me return a second time for answers. Nothing had changed the test is still lost, very nice personalble NP. She could not give me answers she does not have from the Doctor. Didn't expect Dr. to be personable, specialist seldom are, however I do expect results from tests. I do not recommend Dr Gunderson office.
I had no clue what I was doing as a new patient I got lost they moved office and the directories maps don't even give updated info trying to find their office to my knowledge and then they wouldn't even see me because they have 15 Min late policy that I was not even informed of in my Appointment reminders so I no clue! I wanted to BOLT out there because I was so DONE. The secretary was professional but could have been nicer. I went to the wrong floors and building had to ask people for help even though I was embarrassed about it those people were so nice. I wanted to scream or cry by the end of my ordeal. and almost started bawling in the Grocery store after. I waited weeks for this appointment and even the Dr. had to reschedule it once. It took me 1000xs steps to get there and they couldn't even be bothered. I try to be nice because I know what it is like to be rudely but how they treated me without even being seen hurt SO MUCH! Medicine fails me again! ZERO stars!
He was very rude and condescending. I have rarely had a professional treat me like he did. I have cancelled my other appointments and would not refer anyone to him.
We brought our Dad (91) here for excessive blood loss. Since Dr. Gunnerson isn’t available for 2 months, I got an appt with PA Jenna Crockett. What a waste of our time. Dr Crockett was first off, not friendly or nice. She wanted records from Mesa View, then ignored us. Dad is almost deaf, which annoyed PA Crockett; not even feigning interest. She wouldn’t listen to our frustrations. She sent us all to the waiting room while they waited for the records. They finally said that the bloodwork was there, but PA Crockett did nothing; not even bother looking at their records from when dad was seen by Dr. Gunnerson. We kept waiting with Dad in a wheelchair until he soiled himself. After 2 hours, we told them we were done. Next day the office called, upset because he left. They now had a list of things for him to do! He didn’t understand what they were saying (hearing), so he asked daughter to call. They wouldn’t talk at all to her, even in general terms (lazy, hiding behind HIPAA).
Can't see the Dr. Only the PA. Dr comes in the office only once a week. The PA is pretty incompetent. Makes a mistake and instead of fixing it, makes it worse. Now I have two prescriptions a month for same medicine and I would have to pay twice. Idiot. Going somewhere else for sure. Not recommended to go to this Dr.
My visit to Dr. Gunnerson was a complete waste of time and money. He was dismissive and unhelpful. I left feeling like I had wasted my day waiting for an appointment that proved useless and expensive. I do not recommend.
I would actually recommend this place to my friends and family, which is rare as I don't usually feel too strongly about the places I go to the doctor, but I felt like this place went the extra mile and was able to do it without taking a bunch of extra steps in the process which is what I'm used to!
First I thought they're making this difficult, wanting to see me in the office first instead of just doing the scoping, but turns out I didn't need one. They know what they are doing.
They referred me straight over to the hospital from their office, and not a minute too early- I had blood poisoning from a ruptured bowel. I'm glad I went to those guys.
I retired from Salt Lake, and Red Rock Digestive is every bit as good as the University, and more responsive. They actually care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
