Jonathan Bowman's Online Review Report Card

I brought my elderly father to Dr. Bowman as he was feeling very ill. Dr. Bowman gave him a prescription for an antacid. I was appalled that he was going to send us on our way without even requesting basic blood tests so I demanded the doctor request it. Once the lab results came back, Dr. Bowman said my dad needed his gallbladder removed. Getting a second opinion, my dad was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA!!!! This doctor is a joke. GET A SECOND OPINION.

I travel back to Kanab from the larger town I moved to because I needed a GOOD doctor and oddly enough the ones in the larger town were a joke. From when I moved to Kanab 20 years ago he still works with the same assistant!! He listens and expects you to participate in your own care. I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia - He is the reason I can still work & I still get to enjoy traveling and outdoor activities because he helped me with paperwork for my service dog. I owe him my life because the others just tried to drug me and call me crazy! Between him and a hard working dog I was able to keep my horses! Only bad thing is so many people see him you have to plan ahead for an appointment - he's good.

Knowledgeable and caring. Treats people with respect. Always hope he is on.

Dr. Bowman is a FANTASTIC children’s doctor. We never feel like we’re rushed, he explains everything so we understand. Great bedside manner very personable.

While in town my kids and I all ended up feverish with strep throat. We showed up to this clinic trying to avoid the overcharging of the emergency room. When we first arrived they said they were an appointment only clinic but would try to squeeze us in. Within 20 minutes they had our paperwork done and had us seeing a doctor. Very friendly staff! I saw Dr. Bowman while visiting Kanab in May 2018. He listened carefully to my concerns, ordered blood tests, and explained the results thoroughly. Both his manner and the information he gave me put me at ease. He was open to questions and did not hurry me at all. I saw him on very short notice and appreciated the time he spent with me.

I was treated by him a few years back and he was very compassionate kind and caring very knowledgeable and took the time to explain I have a lot of respect for this man let truth be known I have high respect for all doctors I had been treated by in mcmurray ER very good people

Went in on a friday with an extremely painful blister in the back of my throat, he hardly looked at it and threw some penecillin at me. I knew he wasn’t able to see that far back in my throat as I have a hard time putting my tongue down for a clear look. I had pictures however to show him how bad the blister was, he completely disregarded me. Went back after 4 days of taking the penicillin and the pain only getting worse. He assured me it was only a mild infection and would take some time for the antibiotics to work, both times seeing him he seemed like he just didn’t care about me as a patient or my symptoms. I was crying in pain and he gave me some naproxen (which is only a mild anti-inflammatory) which did nothing for my pain. I tried to stick it out but ended up back at the hospital the following monday. Saw a different, amazing doctor who told me I had a bad ulcer in my throat and that the antibiotics would not help me. After over a week of being in excruciating pain, the ulcer was already healing the next day after switching medication. Definetly never seeing this doctor again.

I have been going to Dr Bowman for two years since I moved here and of all the doctors I have seen he is one of the best. He has great bed side manor he's the kind of doctor you can joke around with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.
