Really grateful for Tim Chavez and his approach with my son. We've tried multiple other therapists but nobody has connected with our son as well as Tim. He's so easy to talk to. Such a calm but fun presence. My son really enjoys working with Tim.

Doug has helped me greatly be a unique balance of sincere care (in his listening and respect for you and your feelings), and his confidence that we can each conquer life and the inevitable challenges it brings. I am very thankful for his personal concern as he guides me through the root causes for my fears and weaknesses. I always feel better and more confident after speaking with Doug.

Not a good experience at all. Felt like I was put on the spot a lot and then was told I have to talk about the issues that they wanted to discuss and ignore what I was there to talk about. Not satisfied in any way.

I briefly worked with Lisa for a few months before moving last spring, and she was wonderful. She very quickly made me feel comfortable (which is hard to do as I am wary to share personal information) and gave me some good resources. I did not want to jump into medication as I feel like there are issues which need to be resolved before considering medication, and she was very respectful and supportive of that decision (though I will say that I respect her and her discretion enough that, had she suggested medication later in our sessions, I would have trusted her advice). Lisa, as a therapist, was great. My lower review comes from billing. There were a number of issues in only the few months that I was there. Some of the front staff were also a little dismissive at times (not all, but it was very hit-or-miss). I understand that therapy can be an uncomfortable and maybe even embarrassing experience, but the attitude of some of the front staff made it more uncomfortable to go there than my actual sessions.

So far so good! My family has had a positive experience visiting with Karson. We’re learning new things and finding ways to make positive changes. We’re learning how to face the many challenges presented to families in the 21st century.

I went to Aspire North for art therapy. My understanding is art therapy is suppose to be beneficial for tbi and ptsd, enjoyable, help with stress, self esteem and be calming. I experienced the exact opposite. I went 3 times, each worse than the last. I am now agitated, angry,  and have no self esteem. I will never go there again. Would post negative stars if I could.

My kids and I are are seeing and have been seeing for awhile, Debra Hansen. We all love her. She has done wonderful things for my daughters. I'm glad we found her. I will refer her to everyone and anyone!

Dorian Pye was a horrible counselor. Very abrupt and rude. Got us to bring our daughter in and three weeks later informed us she was closing her business in Layton. Our daughter confided in her and Dori knew all along that she was closing her practice here. Our daughter feels betrayed by her and now has a terrible opinion of counselors. Not a trustworthy woman and only wanted to take our money for the three weeks before she closed. I won't be supporting  or referring Dori or Aspire Counseling to anyone.

I have known Jeri Young, LCSW - one of the core counselors at Aspire - through the Tai Chi classes I teach. During our time together, Jeri has helped me change my perspective on some very deep-seated issues which I have struggled with my entire life. Because of this, I feel a desire to bring it to the public's attention that - if Aspire has people like Jeri Young on its staff - it is very much worth seeking out if you or a loved one could benefit from counseling. I believe very strongly that everyone - and I mean everyone - should seek the benefits of counseling for at least a few months, regardless of their background - because - we all have been hurt in some way by something or someone and all of us would be happier if we knew how to heal.
