Very good at explaining the problem and offering suggestions
Dr. Richards was very nice and helpful and kind. Seeing him today was a real pleasure!
PROS- * Dr. Bryan Richards was great and I'm glad he was my surgeon as the procedure went well. He's a nice guy and a great ENT. I'd recommend him to anyone. * His staff was super quick to fill more pain medication and the swish and swallow and was super nice and quick to respond when I called after hours with a question. * The nurse at the surgical center was fabulous- very sweet and helpful. * Anesthesiologist was funny and relaxing. Super nice guy. CONS- * Dr. Richard's nurse at Tanner Clinic at my in person pre-op appointment gave me completely wrong information- she told me to drink a ton of water right before (didn't clarify not past midnight the night before and nothing was said on the paper). If I had drank a ton they would have cancelled my surgery when I flew in family to watch my kids, so I'm glad I asked about that when they called to give me my surgery time. * Information about no eating and drinking midnight prior should have been on the paper given at the pre-op. Also about what to expect about the surgery (no jewelry or makeup, to bring your insurance card, that there will be a urine test so don't go to the bathroom if your surgery is first thing in the AM like mine was, discuss the IV, what anesthesia is like, that they STRAP YOU DOWN before putting you under). None of this was communicated beforehand and the paper they gave me at discharge (after the procedure already took place) had some paragraphs about what to expect before the procedure (which isn't helpful information to have after the surgery has already been done). * I especially didn't like them strapping me down without warning or mental time to prepare for that. * In my opinion, swish and swallow should always be prescribed for tonsillectomy. My friend told me about it and I had to ask for it. It's been a lifesaver and helped me not take as much hydrocodone. * Also more than 3 lollipops would have been great- 5 would have been the perfect amount.
Dr Richards was kind, patient with my hearing problems and spoke loudly enough for me to hear him. I appreciate that.
Loved him
My experience with Dr Richards was great! He was able to explain things to me well. Although the office seemed busy my wait time was very minimal. I will definitely go back
He was the first of several ENT doctors who was actually willing to listen to me. I was very impressed with him and will highly recommend him to anyone.
Only second time I’ve seen Dr Richard’s. Straightforward and professional. Took great care of my issues and gave good advice.
I have been dealing with an ongoing nasal infection for more than 4 months. Dr Richards is the third doctor to review my situation. His prompt and wise action now has me on the mend. I would rate him a 10 out of 10. Really glad i found him. His staff is excellent as well.
Very friendly, and answered all my concerns!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
