Extremely upset this afternoon wasted over two hours of commute and waiting time to see doctor Mary B. after waiting for so long I finally left no patient should be made to wait so long.
Dr. Larsen has been great the few times I have met with her. Her PA-C, Mary Boyette is the absolute best and is extremely attentive, focused on patient recovery, and sincere when interacting with patients. I am very happy with my selection for providers for my wrist surgery.
The first one went so well, that I will be scheduling for my left knee to be done in a couple of months. Dr Sumko cares!
Apparently the front desk doesn’t want to have you seen under an Urgent care situation. They will try to discourage you from being seen . Even as I was walking away from the receptionist desk to the waiting room . Yelling it could be more than an hour. If when you told two other people just walked in as urgent didn’t persuade from leaving , and telling me the wait could be a while also didn’t persuade me . And I replied that is fine yelling across the office that it could be up to an hour isn’t Going to do anything but annoy me and show me how literally unprofessional you are . If my pain is enough for me to walk in the door in the first place. Your lack of compassion will only make me think twice about coming here in the future. And yes when my actual family Dr gets back from military training . And I schedule my next appointment with him I will let him know how unprofessional the front office was. It is hard to find a good Dr and he is one. So he is what is turning what would be a one star review into a four star review .
The fatter and older lady with glasses on at front desk is racist. if you’re an asian she will look down on you, talk down on you.
Appointment scheduling with Tanner Clinic is a joke. Dr. Al-Rayess required a referral, which was sent by my primary care physician. Since the lab work and records were not included, the referral was denied, and discarded. Then, they received the records and since the referral was previously discarded, the records were also discarded. I know some of the doctors may be great, but the scheduling people I've had to deal with have been rude and incompetent. All this while waiting on hold for over 30 minutes each time you call. I'll go elsewhere.
This was my first time going to this Tanner clinic location. I went there, because IHC had closed their InstaCare in South Ogden. I saw that this was being advertised as a urgent care facility. I had been on vacation and sustained an injury. Upon arriving, I indicated that I needed to see a physician to look at my injury. My primary care physician is within the Tanner clinic network, but not this location. Apparently, because of that, it threw the front desk staff into confusion. Initially, I was speaking to a younger receptionist. And she was trying to understand what the nature of my visit was. However, there was an older receptionist or office manager there that figured that she knew better than me, and was wanting to turn me away. I tried to explain to her that I was not there for a primary care physician visit. However, she would not hear anything of it. It was only through my insistence that I was there for an URGENT Care visit that she finally relented and checked with some other person, by calling them. Apparently the reception desk doesn't realize that they are advertising the urgent care services for the location. Once I was finally able to get over that hurdle, the visit with the doctor was great. I wonder how many people have been turned away for a similar situation. This is a new facility, and I'm sure they're just working out the kinks. Hopefully they are improving.
I have always had good things to say about Tanner Clinic until Covid. The way they are dealing with walk-in urgent care patients, or should I say NOT dealing with patients should be against the Hippocratic Oath. I didn’t know that socialized medicine has become Tanner Clinics way of business. My family has already had Covid, but twice now when we have tried to go in for chest congestion (bronchitis) and sore throats (strep throat) we have been turned away. Told to call the Covid hotline which tells you to schedule a Covid test, then schedule an appointment. However, that can only happen if you call during business hours, which closes at 5pm. What a joke. Both times we have gone into the East Layton location only to be turned away from a empty waiting room. We pay crazy $$$ in insurance premiums only to be treated like second class citizens. Tanner Clinic, you are a professional provider, you should take better care of your patients.
He is by far the best Dr I have ever been too. His bedside manner deserves a 10. So down to earth , knowledgeable, personable and kind. He made me feel so safe and comfortable with my Total Hip Replacement Surgery. Don’t walk but run to make an appointment with him. I promise it will be the best choice you will ever make
I called urgent care to get more info about if I should seek medical care now or not due to my abnormal pain I had. Lady answer would not hear out my full info I had on my pain she just kept saying “if pain unbearable then seek care er because we don’t have any ultra sound stuff on Saturdays.” That’s great you could have at least listen to help me determine what could be causing the pain and if it was an emergency or not. Pain was unbearable for little while then stopped but she wouldn’t listen

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
