tldr, Therapists aren’t “trauma informed”! Don’t vent about anything extreme or serious to them unless you’re looking to come back feeling more empty, or embarrassed. As I stated in the other review; I don’t recommend DBH unless you’re asking for med refills. Notice how positive reviews follow up a day later after other “experiences” here. They do it to save face! Never again!
I have been a client of DBH for over ten years, and their medical team, including Dr. Susan Mallory, Dr. Julana Schenk, and Dr. Michael Roundy, consistently provides exceptional, compassionate care. Their expertise and dedication result in a high workload, but the outstanding quality of service is well worth any wait.
There are good and bad with going here. There are some doctors that treat you as a number and a paycheck and push you thru and out and don't listen but there are a few whom are good and take their time. What is hard is my provider is new and works n and odd schedule and when I call they don't know who he is and tell me I am wrong and then transfer me to someone else who i have to explain this all over again and then they finally pull up my chart and see that I do have a doctor by that name. But keep changing and find people there that will help you. Take control of your mental health and speak up if your not happy with them. ** so update the MA called and said they talked and will send in a different med..... they never did!!!! SURPRIZE!!!!!** **Second update so thr pharmacy received the prescription at 153 pm on sunday, so did they see my review or remember they messed up idk but I will be there Monday to talk to them about all of this**
I've had nothing but good happen at this place. I am more stable mentally because I have an amazing therapist. My daughter is more stable because she has groups she can go to and a med provider that cares.
The people are fantastic!
If you want to have a hospital give out your personal and private information then look no further. My family member was involuntarily committed and they texted the portal link to their abuser so the abuser had full access to see what was written the entire time they were there all. This was happening all while preaching patient privacy which is contradictory.
13 years in the dark.... I finally got some help.... Jared introduced me 2 stuff down the traumatic brain injury realm.... Thank you jared....:)
I'll give a review and my experience. The atmosphere was off. At the time I needed a guide not someone to just look at me like I was a lost cause but to help me get better. I'm a happy person at heart I have a little bit of anxiety and wanted new tools to get me going and understanding how to lay out my thoughts. I've been to other mental health clinics and I have noticed the atmosphere is brighter and the therapists treat you like people. I only saw my therapist twice but I felt talked down too and it could just be me and my insecurities but I felt more ashamed of being there then relieved and looking forward. I called them to cancel my appointments and instead of listening fully they just asked me "are you having any thoughts of suicide" I said no I am just canceling and they kept going I am not even kidding "are you surrrreee you're safe and you are not going to harm yourself after this call?" I think it took me a good 10 minutes to convince them I wasn't going to commit I was just done with the clinic and wanted to find somewhere better.
Great providers, always professional, my youngest daughter made some great connections and I will always be thankful for the help Davis Behavioral Health gave my youngest in a time of need
I love the Therapist's that work at DBH in Clearfield, they're all very Good at what they do & you learn a lot from the Information & Skill's they Teach & I'm Happy to be going to Treatment there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
