I appreciate Dr. Gregory Austad's thorough diagnosis and caring treatment as I have received his help with my arthritis. He takes the time to listen and discuss procedures and concerns so I can make informed decisions and choices for my care. At a regular appointment I mentioned shoulder pain and he helped me get a correct diagnosis and referral to a specialist for the necessary care to resolve the problem. I am grateful for his knowledge, skills and caring beyond his area of expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Austad.

Dr Austad is a very caring and compassionate dr.He listens to his patients. He goes out of his way to get us the right treatment.He does not rush and takes the time. I am very satisfied my retired arthritis dr recommended me to go see him.

I switched from another Rheumatologist to Dr Austad. I liked my previous doctor but I was very impressed with Dr Austad. He was a lot more thorough on the physical than my other doctor was. He also explained to me in detail about why I am on certain medications and how they work together with other ones. He is a very easy doctor to talk to. I am very happy with him.

Dr. Austad takes his time and makes sure he explains everything to me in a way I can understand. I never feel like he is in a rush to get me out the door. His MA’s are helpful anytime I need something. I have seen them bring other patients that are a head of me back and they always greet everyone with a friendly smile. They definitely know what they are doing when it comes to getting my blood as I have difficult veins. It’s hard to find a Doctors office where the Doctor and the staff are both friendly and helpful. I wish Doctor Austad was my regular Doctor.

Dr. Austad changed my life. Rheumatoid arthritis was making even basic tasks nearly impossible. With great patience and care Dr. Austad evaluated all my symptoms, described a course of treatment and got me on a positive track back to a life worth living. He is an outstanding person and fine physician.

I've been seeing Dr. Austad for almost 3 years. It has literally been life changing for me. I was in so much pain, but nobody could seem to figure out why. Dr. Austad only had to look at me and know what was wrong. I was walking with a walker at the time. Within 2 weeks i didn't even need a cane. Life changing! He is so attentive, listening to you, allowing you to ask questions. I wish he was my regular doctor.

I would recommend Dr. Austad to anyone who has the need for RA Doctor. He is kind, listens very well, I never feel rushed, he answers all my questions, and very knowledgeable in all aspects of Rheumatology. HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr Austad required reviewing medical records before scheduling an appointment. We had to wait 5 months before being seen. He wouldn't even look at the updated records we brought. He was rude and condescending.

He was the best doctor I've ever had that truly listened, cared. I am still in shock. I've kinda lost faith in all doctors. I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondilitis after being misdiagnosed for 11 years. I had to wait 5 mo. to be seen by a rheumatologist and so I began looking for alternative ways to heal myself. And it's working! I'm healing my gut-leads to putting autoimmune disease into remission. He provided me sound medical advice while supporting my healthy diet/supplements regime.
