Karen Boheen's Online Review Report Card

I am leaving a second review since 6 years who when seeing Dr Boheen about painful periods, hormonal acne, excessive bleeding and irregularities. I sought help to why. I had one blood draw poked 6 times since her staff didn’t know what they were doing. Was told nothing was wrong. I am leaving a scathing second review since there is things actually causing my painful irregular cramping with suspicious nodules in my uterus. A decent OB helped me trust again and sent me for multiple tests and procedures denoting significant blockage in a Fallopian tube and concerning masses. I was turned away and told I “possibly” had hypoglycemia and nothing else was suspicious. When the truth is b-12 deficiency and I have been through at least 3 procedures to get answers(which have been helpful to know what is going on). Dr. Boheen couldn’t be bothered to take my concerns as a patient seriously enough. Go to a provider who will listen. This office didn’t do squat and 6 years later finally getting taken seriously that the symptoms are infertility related.

Commenting no responsibility for how her PATIENTS feel other than she is sorry the patients felt they way that they did? Um, excuse me. Sad to hear about dr boheens staff that were terrible too. WOW!! An insensitive GYNOCOLOGIST? YA NO THANKS!!!! Save yourself a trip and find a different OBGYN people, we sure did. Best wishes to all current and future MOTHERS! <3

I used to love this office and the team, until they started screwing me over in the billing department. They billed me to the wrong address for months despite me correcting them, billed me for the same visit twice, and sent me to collections. After paying collections, they are still claiming I’m in corrections over a year after I paid, and are refusing to fill my medications. I’ve had this same argument with them for months and have even offered to send my credit card statement with all my payments on them, yet I still have to have this fight every time I call the office. I just want to get my medications. Moving on from billing issues, I was waved off when telling the doctor I was in extreme amounts of pain. She ran one test that came back negative, then prescribed me medication for something she didn’t actually test for. When this didn’t solve the problem, I was told I would just have to wait until after her vacation to get help and she didn’t know what was wrong with me.

Dr. Boheen is by far the best obgyn I've ever seen! Throughout my entire pregnancy she answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable til the very end! She's very straightforward which is what I look for in a doctor and her bedside manner is amazing! She is very kind and funny and her staff are very nice! I definitely recommend her to anyone!

Worst care! Worst medical contact! Completely careless OGBYN! Least informative doctor on the face of the planet! Worst attitude I’ve ever received from a medical employee! Go with someone else this place doesn’t care about you or your needs!

Dr. Karen Boheen is an AMAZING OB! She has delivered 4 of my 5 children. I have never “ripped”. 👍 She is kind and knowledgeable. I hate giving blood, so often she will do it instead of her nurses to help me not be so nervous. Her staff is super also. They are very professional and sweet. I would recommend Dr. Boheen and her staff to anyone. I have loved having a female OB. She has been through everything I have, and is very understanding and helpful.

I recently went to see her. I was very disappointed in the lack of care received. She made me feel as if I was a waste of time and she had better things to be doing. It’s been three weeks since I have seen her and I am still waiting for the call she said I would be receiving. She delivered my child 19 years ago and was an amazing doctor and person at that time. It’s so sad to see that job has worn on her so much and that she no longer has the want or energy to be that doctor anymore.

Went to this office for the first time and was treated like an inconvenience. I came in right at one o’clock when their lunch was over and was stuck waiting at the front desk for 6mins with no one coming to the front. Then at that time the doctor came out and just told me to take a seat like she was annoyed with me.... I then waited another 3 mins and the receptionist came out and then said nothing to me and acted like I was invisible. Another girl came into the doors and she was addressed her before I was. I was then finally helped where I was thrown a piece of paper to fill out with no nice comments. I then proceeded with my visit with the doctor to get a vaginal exam where she was irritated with me and told me “wow you really don’t like this do you”. Uh no I don’t ...who the hell does. And if a patient looks uncomfortable maybe you should make them feel comfortable instead of make them become more uncomfortable. With working in healthcare, I could have not been more disgusted or disappointed with how they treated me as a patient. I can promise you I will not be returning. Sorry I was such an inconvenience.

Dr Boheen is professional, compassionate and very thorough. She rarely has much of a wait in her office and she is quick and respectful every time I’ve seen her. I’ve read some negative comments about her office staff but in the 5 years that I have been seeing her, I have never had a bad experience with anyone there. I will continue going to Dr Boheen and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great doctor.
