List of Marc Anderson's Reviews
Dr. Andersen is smart, caring, and very efficient. Best doctor ever for general practice. Wide range of knowledge and skills.
Dr. Anderson double billed me twice. He had been my family doctor and asthma specialist for a couple of years. During my physical in 2018, I asked a question that I thought was relevant. He billed me for 2 appointments for the one visit. I found it frustrating. I asked him to let me know if a question was not part of a physical before blindsiding me with a double billing. A year later I visited him for my asthma. I started medicare and was eligible for my Medicare Initial Preventive Physical Exam (MIPPE). I did not request nor want it at that time. During my asthma visit he asked if I was up to date on my immunizations. He recommended a test that he said medicare would pay for. After blood was drawn and I was preparing to leave, the nurse said there was another test which Dr. Anderson wanted me to have but had not discussed. He subsequently billed me for my asthma visit plus MIPPE. (The MIPPE is well defined and I did not receive it.) He promised to cancel the charges but never did.
Was my primary doctor for at least a year or so. Very mixed feelings because when I first started going I feel like he was very attentive and kind. After my last visit and phone interaction with him I will never go again. I had told him one of the medications he prescribed were having side effects making my original issue much worse, and he doubled my dosage. I tried it anyway and had the worst time of my life. Called to see how to wean off of it so they said they'd call back. Calls asking why and I responded, "I told him during my last visit the side effects were effecting me heavily so he should know why." Got another call and the receptionist told me they were going to stop prescribing a different prescription, which had actually been helping, if I wanted to stop the other. Words were exchanged and I got my prescription still. Just doesn't seem to care much anymore and comes off very judgmental instead of helping with the issue.
I've never met him before but felt highly judged when he came in and throughout the exam. Any questions or requests for clarification were met with terse incomplete remarks. He did not want me there.
They did allergy tests and then sent me on my way. No follow-up appointment with doctor to discuss in detail. He talked to me about my results in the hallway as patients and staff were walking by. No clear direction on what we needed to do next. Office staff seems to only care about what they are doing at that moment and then no help afterward. I will not step foot back in his office.
I have been seeing Dr. Anderson for allergys about four years and have been pleased with my care. He is never to busy to answer any question I may have. He and his staff are very efficient and caring.
Don't ask for a referral for a dermatololgist, etc. the office staff won't follow through, neither will Dr. Anderson. It took repeated phone calls and after one month with my appointment the next day they finally faxed it to my Dr. after I had to get very mad with them!
I suffer from thyroid disease and have had a very difficult time finding a good doctor. Dr. Anderson actually listened to me and seems willing to work with me. Having lived with Hashimoto's disease for many years I know quite a bit about it and I also know my body. Dr. Anderson seemed to respect that and didn't just poo-poo my thoughts and concerns. He also followed up with my lab results on the phone after my appointment. He is the first doctor to do so in all my years of struggling with thyroid disease. He's also the first one who didn't also just want to put me on anti-depressants. I am not depressed...my thyriod levels are off. If you are a thyroid patient, give him a try. He tests for anti-bodies, Free T3, Free T4, Reverse T3, etc. Not just TSH. He also seems incredibly kind.
I had read that Dr. Anderson could help me with possible thyroid issues since I have all of the symptoms. I traveled quite a distance to go to him. His nurse was not very friendly, and after meeting with him and telling him my symptoms I made an appointment to get lab work done. Before I went in for the lab work I called and asked if he would diagnose me on symptoms instead of just lab work in case it came back "normal" and asked if he would be able to help me or if I should go see someone else. I was told to go see someone else, so now I have to pay the big bill when he didn't do anything for me at all. Total waste of time!!
I am very picky about physicians. I have had a difficult time finding a physician who would actually listen to my symptoms and spend the time necessary ocming to an accurate dianosis. Dr. Anderson and his staff were AMAZING! I drove 80 miles round trip and it was well worth it! His bedside manner was excellent!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
