If you use Kings be aware they DO NOT do the image if you have a pace maker. We made a trip from Bear Lake our daughter took a half day of of work to drive us only to find out they wouldnt do the scan because my husband has a pace maker. Would have been nice to know before we made appointment. Wasted day

They DO NOT have an open MRI machine as the name implies or as implied over the phone when I set the appointment. I was told it was a 6 foot opening. The length is probably close to that but not the diameter. The staff were polite and courteous and the facility was clean and pleasant however if you are claustrophobic at all find another location.

The staff was super nice and very professional. The MRI results came back promptly and accurate. Will be going back for any future MRI scans I need in the future.

Layton does NOT have an open MRI machine. I am claustrophobic and told them when I made the appt confirming there was an open machine in Layton. When I was called into the room I saw the tube and said something. They said I could reschedule but at that time I already took the valium and got a ride. She said that the open machine broke and people didnt mind the tube so they didnt replace it. I have a heart condition and this type of issue could have been fatal for me if I couldnt get myself to relax and keep my BP down
