List of Scott Baker's Reviews
Prior to this visit I've never had a doctor seem entitled and petulant about preventing them from doing a painful procedure that would likely take months to heal from during a verbal consultation. Perhaps "verbal" was miscommunicated on their side. I was then told "I don't talk about hypotheticals" so I had to respond "So are you refusing to answer my questions (the only reason I was there)?" Then he realized that he was being unreasonable and grudgingly answered my questions before staring at me and holding the door open until I left.
If I could give no stars I would. I was sent to him by my GI doctor to place a surgical J tube as I have had an NJ tube for going on two years. My GI wanted it done to better my quality of life. Baker instantly rejected my GI’s request and felt that removing a section of my stomach was much more important. He also proceeded to tell me that I don’t know enough about my medical conditions to have any knowledge about what is best for me. I have been heavily involved in my own care and done extensive research on my conditions to know what is going on. When I told him that I wanted to do what was recommended by my doctor he said that he would not be forced to do a surgery that he doesn’t agree with. He has absolutely horrible bedside manner and should not be allowed to see/treat any patients.
Dr. Baker, If I could give you zero stars, I would. You were so arrogant when speaking to my sister, your patient! You were in such a hurry the morning of her surgery that it made her feel like she was interrupting your day. You canceled her follow up appointment twice. You didn’t take time to address her post-operative complications and, consequently, she is no better now than she was before her painful surgery. While reading your other reviews, it makes me wonder if you are the same person I am reviewing?! Dr. Baker, shame on you for not treating ALL of your patients equally! My sister came to you in a time of need because you are supposed to be the professional who could help her with her medical issue. Look in the mirror and decide if this is really who you want to be, if not, get out of this profession. You are a disgrace to the medical community, which I am a member of.
Dr. Baker made me feel real comfortable through my issues. However, three months after my CT scan, I get a call from his office informing me I need to sign release papers for a referral. For what? An aneurysm on a blood vessel. Excuse me? They said Dr. Baker discussed it with me. Um no. I would have remembered that. Seems some important information was left out. Not very professional and very scary on my end, three months later.

Dr. Baker was very kind, a good listener and made me feel comfortable. He explained things clearly and patiently. He comes very highly recommended by my GP and others so I feel confident in his advice and care. His nurse also deserves a shout out...she was exceptional in her job, too.
Dr. Baker was very attentive. He listened and made me feel comfortable there. He gave me all the information needed and gave me time to ask questions. Carly was also very easy to work with. She had all the answers I needed and was so super nice. Great experience all around!
Dr. Baker is awesome. He has such a great “bedside manner”. He explained everything to me so well and thoroughly. I’m really glad I found him.
Great bedside manner. Loved his MA too
Dr Baker is the best!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
