List of Scott Checketts's Reviews
we have been waiting 50 minutes. we were early and 4 others have arrived after us, All have gone back. I notified at 30 minutes, and we are still sitting here... love Dr checketts so much but his waiting time with an appointment is horrible.
Regrettably after leaving Cheketts office I immediately made an appointment with another dr I bountiful ... checketts was a nice enough guy but his demeanor and bedside manor is not good ... he wasn’t thourough at all for doing a full body mole check ... anything I asked about he looked at but not thorough ... I was warned by someone else that went to him but for location and convenience was why I went there .., sorry doc don’t be coming back
I went to Mr. Checkett’s office to get my wart removed and I was left with a wound in my arm that scarred terribly. I went back to figure out what options I had to get the scar to look better and he told me that he couldn’t do anything and had no other options for me but to have an ugly scar [maybe try Mederma? :( ]. I asked and asked but it turned out to be a huge waste of money and time. Thank God I found a dermatologist on Tik Tok with an actual suggestion to improve my scar and its already looking better after a month. Mr. Checkett’s is not a good doctor.
I went to see Dr. Checketts a few years ago (my last dermatologist would do a full body exam including my hair) Dr Checketts only looked at my face..squirted me twice..I showed him one more spot on my hand and he ask if I wanted squirted. I said sure...No one told me that extra squirt would cost me and additional $200. All in all he spent less that 2 minutes with me and billed me over $400. Maybe I should be a Dr.—that come out to about $12,000 and hour. When I called about the bill that I paid

Needless to say I will not be back and suggest you don't go either. Find someone else!!!
I am a patient of Dr. Checketts. I am extremely pleased with the care and attention that I have received from him, especially most recently. He is always very pleasant and his care is exceptional. I highly recommend him.
My teenage daughter visited Dr. Checketts for a skin problem. He was very condescending, rude, too pompous to listen to her, and "too intelligent" to actually examine the skin rash, which he coincidentally misdiagnosed, and which led him to prescribe medication that had absolutely nothing to do with the real problem, and which did not help with the problem. Actually, the wrongly prescribed medication caused more health issues that she is still dealing with. Never again. Horrible doctor.
Dr Checketts is an incredible dermatologist! I asked on facebook who my friends recommend for a dermatologist and about half of them said Dr Checketts. I went to him (long wait to get it because he's so good and popular) but worth it! He took my warts away that no other dermatologist could touch. He also has the best bedside manner ever! He's very honest and educates his patients. Since I have been to him my entire family goes to him and multiple friends. I Travel from Holladay to Layton to see
So disappointed. No effort to help patient. Arrogant. Horrible doctor . Getting second opinion tomorrow. He didn't listen to anything we were saying. Made no effort to understand what was going on. Bad bedside manner.
Arrogant and unfriendly. Glad it wasn't something more serious as his treatments didn't work but the bills kept on coming. Nice gig.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
