Dr Richards and the reception desk workers were all great! I had no appointment but they still worked to get me in to examine my swollen eye! I'm going out of town so i didn't have time to schedule later. I've visited Dr Richards before and he has always been great!

Dr Richards was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything. He provided the perfect solution to correct my vision problem. He was also great with my daughter. I highly recommend Dr Richards!!

I can't say enough good about Dr. Richards and his staff. They always make time for me and my vision care, which has been rather complicated. Dr. Richards was able to properly diagnose and help me get treatment for my challenging medical situation. Though he had to pass my care to other medical specialists, he followed up by text message to be sure I was getting the care I needed. I was extremely impressed by his taking the time to provide this care. I highly recommend Dr. Richards as a skilled ophthalmologist.

I felt I was on an assembly line. He was in and out of several consultations. He did not greet me or introduce himself when he walked in. His office ran test without explaining the test or reason for it. I was confused and had lots of questions but he seemed rushed.

Starting in June of 2021, Dr. Trent Richards diagnosed and treated my wife for cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Richards shows genuine interest in his patients and answered the many questions that Lynn and I had. Dr. Richards was very professional and demonstrated his exacting skill through her surgery and postoperative visits. The result being 20/20 vision in both eyes. Based on this experience, I decided to trust my eyes to Dr. Richards. On my first visit, I found out that is was not possible to correct the vision in my right eye. Dr. Richards diagnosed cataracts in both eyes and also found that the corneal surface in both eyes was uneven accounting for the lack of correctability. Dr. Richards did a relatively new procedure to smooth each eye on separate visits which worked very well. My first cataract surgery went well but due to the antibacterial cleaning solution used by the operating room team the surface of that cornea was again uneven resulting in a second smoothing procedure on that eye. Dr. Richards changed the cleaning procedure on my second cataract surgery and it was completed without any problems. The result exceeded our expectations, resulting in 20/20 vision in both eyes. Dr. Richards is personable, professional, and highly skilled. He is also tenacious, he just wasn't going to let my eyes get the best of him. Jim Matthies
