I cannot personally speak to Dr. Johnsons skill as a plastic surgeon, but I had the great misfortune of meeting him many years ago when he was training and I was a student in the healthcare field. My only interaction with him was so incredibly traumatic that here I am over 20 years later still recalling it- explosive anger, literally screaming and intense verbal abuse. It was wildly unreasonable and unprofessional behavior toward someone who was in the infancy of their career over something that was not clinically significant, but rather his misperception of the situation. Maybe he's an amazing surgeon. Maybe I met him on a bad day. But based on other posts here I think my experience was not unique.

I was a patient of Dr. Johnson I was butchered by Dr. Johnson, I had a tummy tuck and what was suppose to be a breast lift turned out to be a FULL breast reduction. He was so sweet and caring during the initial consultation. He said don't worry your insurance LOVES me. So everything was suppose to be done through my medical insurance which he milked for over $20,000, and I PAID him $6000÷for my stomach muscles to be tighten which I later found out was not done, my stomach looks like I am pregnant, my belly button and TT scar is badly crooked. My breast lift aka brest reduction for insurance purpose,, well let's just say I went in there with a 36 D and came out unable to wear any size Bra I have to wear a sports bra with pads in it so I can look like I have breast. When I spoke to him about my how my stomach looks he said it wasn't a crooked incision that's how my anatomy is. I told him my breast looks like I have man boobs he said You knw that really tells me alot about you if you think you have man boobs. He said this is such an improvement from when you came in, do you not remember your breast was pointing downward. I told him sorry wrong patient my breast just needed a lift. He asked to see the before pics and realized he made a mistake and told his assistant to schedule me for lipo and a fat transfer to the breast a few days later. Mind you I was only 1.5 month post op I wasn't suppose to have lipo done on my body So soon. I never went back to him. So please dnt let his charming ways during the consultation fool you. He is a disgusting, low grade, mediocre, disrespectful, arrogant, rude person they shld strip him of his license.

Doctor Johnson is crazy and has borderline personality disorder. Stay away!! I observed today that for no reason he started screaming and yelling at another patient who was sitting in the waiting area, just because the patient had asked him to use a mask. This lunatic Dr does not wear a mask, does not wear gloves, does not social distance and does not care we are in the middle of a pandemic. He is extremely rude and obnoxious. His irresponsible, careless and lunatic behavior should be reported to the New York State board of medicine and his medical license should be revoked ASAP!

I turned to Dr. Johnson for my medical needs and found not only a professional physician, but a genuinely caring person that meets me where I am and works with me to ensure I get the correct and best medical care. Highly recommended.

Always have good experience when visiting. He always willing to go to he extra mile to help me. If he doesn't know will refer me to someone who does.

After several botched or ineffective cosmetic surgeries in Boston, I decided that I needed the best of the best and did an exhaustive, thorough search in Boston which lead me to New York where I continued my search and finally found Dr, Johnson.After all the surgeons I have been through, I could write a book on how to pick a surgeon based on my past mistakes. The reason I knew Dr Johnson was the right choice was the fact that he spoke with me on the phone before I traveled to New York to visit him. Since then, before and after the surgery, we exchanged numerous calls, visits and emails. I can't emphasize enough the difference that makes. Most of these surgeons see you once and barely listen to you because they are busy making the sell (and yes, I include "Board Certified Plastic Surgeons"), and then the next time you talk about what is going to happen is the day of the surgery when you've already started to be anesthetized and of course are nervous as hell. I had Dr Johnson perform an extreme procedure based on the incompetence of his predecessors as well as perform the rhinoplasty I wanted as opposed to the rhinoplasty the surgeon prior to him thought I should have, which looked exactly like my pre-nose surgery.it is true that Dr Johnson can be a little high strung (Harvard and Oxford will do that to you I guess). But you need to choose whether you want a meticulous someone who is going to take all the time needed to ensure you are aligned on what you are looking to achieve, or someone who you have barely ever spoken to and has no idea what you are looking for while performing your surgery. Please take my advice and go with the latter and thank your lucky stars that you have the rare surgeon who actually cares about the outcome.

Dr. Johnson performed excellent work on my chest I feel great and the healing time wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Dr. Johnson guided me through the process from beginning to end so I felt very comfortable and not as afraid leading up of the the day of the surgery. He is a excellent doctor and straight forward , he gives you real answers and real time results. This was my first procedure with Doctor Johnson and in 2020 I will be back for more.

All the negative reviews speak volumes. I had similar negative experiences and would never recommend.

Dr. Johnson is the worse doctor ever! His attitude was disgusting ! He so rude obnoxious and a know it all. We schedule a date. Then when i haven't heard back from him in like 3 weeks i decided to give him a call. That's when he said we never schedule anything. But luckily i have my phone recorded and decided to play the recording. He then wanted to say "he does not care & he is book for the whole year" and rudely hung up on me twice ! Do not go to him ! During my consult i told him i wish to have local anesthetic he rudely told me, "No, you seem like you talk to much so i want to put you to sleep." Against my wishes ! So rude ! Go somewhere else. He refused to show me his before and after pictures! I do not know who raised this man
