Dr. Beck was incredible. So thankful he was my Anesthesiologist. He was so kind, answered my questions, eased my fears and treated me with respect and utmost kindness. Couldn’t have asked for better. He is the best!!

Had a family with injury. He got sign out from another physician. He didn’t update my family prior to admission on what was going on!

Prior to surgery, I expressed to Dr. Beck that I have difficulty "waking" from anesthesia, and that it usually takes me a day and a half to fully sleep off the effects. I also indicated that I am usually ill following anesthesia. He indicated that he could remedy both of those issues and discussed with me how that would happen. I actually woke up in the recovery room. That has NEVER happened before! I am convinced that my easy recovery was in large part due to the face that I was not groggy nor ill for hours following surgery. I am so happy that he both listened to my concerns, and then acted on them in my best interests. I am MORE than pleased with Dr. Michael Beck!

I was riding my bicycle on stony brook road Saturday june 25th when I fell off and stunned myself. Dr Beck I believe was going on call at the stony brook hospital medical center when he spotted my while driving his car He was able to get me and my bike in his car and rushed to the emergency room where I was treated for a lacerated head by dr beck and an associate physician Thanks to his caring, I was able to return home on my own in a timely manner
