He is a very competant doctor.

Dr Smith is a sweetheart very patient and he takes his time to explain your treatment. He follows up on you. I would feel at ease with him doing my surgery.

He is a very bad doctor. He didn't want me to check up. the only thing that interested him was desire that they had nothing when another doctor took x-rays of my spine It came out that they had a fracture in the l4 he put in if he reported that he checked me at the first appointment when he didn't

Today I went in for my fathers evaluation who is hard of hearing. I proceed to enter with my father who I am also a caregiver for. I should include the fact that he has dementia & sometimes does not recognize where he is at and has panic attacks. My father is unstable and not able to care for himself. Therefore, I have to watch him all the time. Dr. Michael D Smith screams at his front desk receptionist and asks why she allowed me in, which has never been a problem at any doctors office due to my fathers severely ill condition. The receptionist along with another employee at this facility just lowered their heads as this was happening which says it all. I hope the employees don't lower their standards and put up with this doctors behavior any longer. I understand the current circumstances in which we are in which is why I get tested for covid once a week, especially being a care giver I take the necessary precautions to keep myself and others around me safe. Do you also stop your patients from entering because of covid? Oh wait, your patients are the only thing that keeps your business afloat right? All that matters is the money you make and not the health of your patients. After screaming at his front desk receptionist, the "Doctor" calls me over with his finger, yelling at me, telling me "you cannot go in with him because of covid 19!!!" I proceeded to tell him that my father is practically deaf, has dementia and has panic attacks and he proceeds to prevent me from entering, saying to the receptionist "is he deaf?!" Mocking the fact that I just let them know he was. I find this absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Quite disgusting of a human if you ask me!!!Had something happened to my father, they would have been 100% liable because I let the dr know that he cannot care for himself. The dr proceeded to verbally abuse me and tells me to go elsewhere with my father. This is unethical especially coming from a dr who is supposed to care for the well being of their patients. As I get in my car my father starts to cry and tells me he didn't mean to get me in trouble. Do you find this okay and acceptable? Dr Smith, don't take it personal but if you don't like your career choice don't drag your patients down with you. If this is what goes on at your front desk, I don't want to know what you're capable of doing behind it. Instead I scheduled my father with a much more reputable dr who actually cares about his patients

I'm really surprised by these negative reviews. I think he is the sweetest doctor and really takes his time to listen to you. The staff is also wonderful, I especially like Warren his assistant and the receptionist. I have never really had a long wait. Great doctor and staff in my opinion!

I'm surprised by these negative reviews as I've only had a good experience whenever I've had to go in to see Dr Smith. He's helped me with my injury and always gives a thorough exam. Great doctor in my opinion!

I found Dr. Smith to be on top of my needs as far as what therapy I will need. Very happy with the office and the staff. Wait time wasn't bad at all.

This medical office is not only mismanaged but the receptionist is one of the most incompetent, rude people I have ever dealt with. She watched videos on her computer screen and is always talking on her phone when i come in for an appointment then looks as if I am troubling her if I ask a question. She also incorrectly billed my former insurance company - said I had a past due balance ALL WITHOUT SENDING ME A BILL OR LETTING ME KNOW THERE WAS AN ISSUE. As for Dr. Smith. I believe he was a good doctor years ago however has lost his passion and yes, as a former reviewer stated is somewhat like a "robot" in his dealings with you. I complained about his receptionist and he apologized on her behalf. The receptionist did not however. I have since found a wonderful ortho with a professional receptionist. I would not recommend this office or this doctor to anyone.

Steer clear of this "doctor"! This man is corrupt.I was sent to him in 2003 by my previous attorney (who was just as corrupt) and it was the worse experience of my life.He is not interested in figuring out what is really causing you pain, he is a robot who shuffles patients along without taking real interest in their injuries.I have a spinal injury and after being in his "care" for over 5 years and not really seeing any real treatment I decided to investigate if he had even checked out my MRI. He had not! Yet he wrote a report saying I was 6% disabled? He never actually diagnosed me, my appointments consisted of "can you touch your toes?" & "what is your pain level?" "Do you want medication?" At one point I requested to be sent to a physical therapist of my choice and they discovered I had developed scoliosis, and had a rotated pelvis. When I went back to Dr smith and showed him the findings of the therapist he shouted at me and forced me to walk to his office so he could point out his medical degrees on his wall and shouted "did you see any medical degrees at that therapist office!?" And proceeded to shout and curse and dismiss me from my appointment! This man is unprofessional and has hidden agendas!!!STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

After going to him for about 15 years I found out that he was not report every time that I fall or went to the e.r. to the ins co. NOW I have anther Dr. I found out that if Dr. Smith would have x-ray me he would have seeing the problem. The x-ray guy and Kim are the 2 best of his office.
