Excellent knowledgeable doctor that cares for his clients.
Did not talk down to me or my husband. Shared his knowledge freely. Had no problem with the drugs used.
It’s very sad closing to the year 2017! The Dr. that’s been there for me thru thick and thin has now retired. I was a young naive man when I moved to Vancouver and very uncomfortable discussing my new ‘lifestyle’ to the family doctor I had grown up seeing( the same one my parents used😣!). I felt I had nowhere to go...... When I had a incident that lead me to a std clinic I sensed that the nurse giving me the usual test could tell I was ‘going out of my mind!!!’ from stress And not having a G.P. I could be comfortable with in asking questions and relaying the facts of my life and love life too..... That sweet nurse wrote a name and # on a piece of paper- sliding it into my hand. From that point on ,after my first visit;I felt I had care of the best Dr. In the city / anywhere!!! We could talk so openly and educate me on the lifestyle I had known I’d been part of all my life . Even during rough times , Richard always put a smile on my face and made what seemed to me to be ‘mayor medical panick situations’ a no big deal easy fix and always left his office with a smile on my face You will be deeply missed in the community Richard! I wish all the best life has to offer in your travels and retirement My Dr . for 25 yrs! You were and are the best ! Greg B
So sad that Richard is retiring. So many times over the years I have gone to seen him worried about this or that and I always come out of the appointment feeling cared for and in a much better head space. Thank you Richard you have really made a difference in many lives.
very good doctor. very knowledgeable . rarely does not know, but if he doesn't know he finds out. good sense of humor. kind and friendly. down to earth type of guy. salt of the earth.
My best doctor ever -but now he's retiring! Totally compassionate, always willing to explain all questions. with a loyal, fair gatekeeper at the front desk. You can't buy his devotion to his patients-I can't imagine I'll find his like again and I come from a family of award winning community endorsed physicians. A genuine credit to his profession.
Worst doctor ever. Put me on steroids for my depression, "if I looked good I would feel good" I was getting so much he often borrowed from other patients that he stored in his office. Gave me meds for depression that my physiatrist was baffled by and insisted i get off of immediately. For a few years I thought he was a god send until i discovered his codependent care was damaging my health. 15 years later i am still dealing wtih the effects of the steriods.
Dr. Taylor was my doctor when I lived in Vancouver before I moved to Toronto. He is absolutely outstanding. He's compassionate, caring and genuinely interested in giving his patients the best care. There are few doctors as good as Dr. Taylor. One of a kind!
Dr Taylor has been my doctor for more than 20 years. He has always been spot on in his treatment of me and at one point when I was suicidal he saw me daily to keep me centred until I could get in to a psychiatrist for further treatment of my depression. He has always been very easy to talk to and seems well informed of current medical issues. I recommend him most heartily.
Dr Taylor is a compassionate and thoughtful practicioner who has helped me through some dynamic medical issues with his expertise, and provoking questions to determine my overall health, and emotional needs. My quality of life is better for having Dr.Taylor as my practicioner over 20 years. His former assistant Elaine was an absolute gem, and the currently assistant, Steve, is a caring, and compassionate health care assistant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
