Nathan Bertoldo's Online Review Report Card

Feel it’s best people get the truth even the negative things. Not impressed at all! I do not recommend him to anyone. Went there WAITED OVER AN HOUR for my appointment just to sit in the room and listen to him visit with the nurses instead of getting to my appointment. Not to mention waited over 2 weeks for test results and nothing so I called the nurse and they were practically clueless on what I was asking for and completely no help at all! Worst OBGYN & office staff ever!!! Office treated me like I was not as high and mighty as them in the office….. NOPE I WON’T BE BACK!!!

The nursing staff never answers the phones. You have to leave voicemails, and if they happen to do call you back (they didn't call me back on several different occasions after multiple voicemails left during an emergent issue) they will then transfer you to a receptionist for any appointment scheduling and that usually just goes to a voicemail too and likely wont get a call back from them either. How exactly do you get in when the nurses won't schedule your appointments (even with an emergency needing in same day) and the reception staff is too busy and either doesn't call you back, OR calls you back after 5pm when there phones are finally shut off and they can get through to your voicemails? Not a good system happening at Mt Naomi Womens clinic. I was a patient at Dr.Bertoldo's other Womens health clinic and NEVER had this kind of issue. I could actually reach him and use to be able to speak to his private MA directly, which I really liked because I felt like I didn't get lost and she would actually get back to me. I definitely got lost with the way they are now doing things, and after seeing another few reviews... others have experienced the same thing as me. I am super disappointed in the care I received from the new nursing staff he has on phones. I had labs that never got called back on, mis information and mix up of results of different type of appointment that I didn't even need, and MULTIPLE different occasions of calling for advice on what to do for an active miscarriage without calls back that pushed me to seeking care elsewhere. Unfortunately, the nursing staff is who you have to go through to get to the doctor... and because of them I will not be returning to see Dr.Bertoldo and I will never be able to recommend this OB/GYN clinic. It's not good care and you deserve better

I have been Dr. Bertoldo's patient since May 2020 when I moved to Utah. I was pregnant and under the care of an OBGYN in New Jersey and that OBGYN recommended I see Dr. Bertoldo to finish out the remainder of my pregnancy. She said he was highly recommended. I get to Utah and schedule an appointment with him in my 3rd trimester. He agreed to take on my pregnancy knowing this would be my sixth c-section. I was offered a gentle c-section and the experience was outstanding. He has great communication skills. Talked to me during my c-section to verify I was comfortable. He is hands down the best OBGYN in Cache Valley. He cares about his patients and loves what he does. He is always available when I call and even basically saved my life when he performed my emergency surgery in 2021. I'm very thankful for him and his willingness to be so devoted to his patients. His staff are also nice, friendly, and have good communication. Highly recommend him as an OBGYN and his staff! They are wonderful.

I hate leaving reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel it’s necessary for others to know. At first I loved the office, but then they lost my patient information and I put it aside, but then I had an emergency yesterday and had to go to the ER. I tried to contact the office to schedule an urgent appointment as I have pregnancy bleeding with is a huge concern, I called a bunch of times and they all went to voicemail. I left a couple of voicemails and the nurse finally called back and told me to connect with reception and schedule an appointment, again, no answers. I never got a call back and the last time I called to schedule an appointment it took 2 weeks for them to call me back. I am changing to an office who has time to see me and makes me feel like I’m a priority and an important patient.

With my first pregnancy I would have given 4.5 stars. He was amazing other than the fact that he blamed my fainting on not drinking enough water. That wasn't my problem after all.. if he would have asked he would have found out that I don't get a lot of sodium in my diet and my baby was sitting right on a major blood vessel. Both of those together were causing me to pass out.. Plus when delivery came the nurse had to hold my baby in me until he got to the hospital. Plus they ignored my birthing plan. I never did skin to skin with my son and I know it effected my postpartum. Now I went in for my yearly. No pap smear. Then I had to pretty much ask for a pregnancy test (I already knew bit I wanted it confirmed). Then each time after to feel like I was a bother. They weren't being up front with me and they figured nothing was wrong. I had all the signs, but they ignored it. I felt like I was put on the back burner so he could go hunting. Nope! I have an UTI! ER wanted me to go in and have a follow up. Nope they didn't want to schedule one. Small things have changed with the staff, but they have been my main problem. Dr. Bertoldo has been and continues to be the best OBGYN I have ever been to! He really does deserve the award of being the choice OBGYN in Cache Valley and honestly the wasatch front!

Seriously the best OBGYN I’ve ever been to. The office staff is so nice and friendly!! Every single one of them. Dr. B took his time and listened and talked with us about all our questions. He went over what to expect for the appointments until delivery. The ultrasound was amazing, they even texted the videos to me! The office was so nice and homey feeling.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bertoldo's since 2019 and he's helped me through a miscarriage at the beginning of 2020 and my pregnancy this year, 2021. I had a very traumatic labor and pregnancy experience with my first son so I was nervous when I moved to Utah from Colorado and became pregnant and began my search for an OB... Then I found his office and from the first time I was seen to now, I can tell you Dr. B and all of his staff were so kind and caring.. Considerate of what I wanted and needed throughout my pregnancy. I recently gave birth to my son and the labor experience was amazing and it made this last time for me very special.. A complete night and day difference from my birth experience that I had in Colorado... I appreciate all that they've done for me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an OBGYN. They're all great. :)

He has moved to a new office in Logan UT.

Dr. Bertoldo is very efficient and sensitive. He addressed my specific needs responsibly. I highly recommend him.
