Dr Fukashima was great! Great listener. Knowledgeable. Friendly. The staff on the other hand has been challenging to work with on occasion.

Dr. Fukushima took time out of his day to see my at Brighton after I shattered my clavicle. Gave me the proper steps to schedule a surgery and made me feel so much at ease. Two days later he performed surgery, gave me the rundown before surgery and made me feel confident in him. He's a great orthopedic surgeon, I can't recommend him enough.

Best orthopedist in Utah for sure! Did an amazing job on my knee! thank you Dr. Fukushima!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall felt like an incredibly dehumanizing experience, I felt as though my thoughts and experiences were never heard. The treatment I received from the staff reminds me of the way middle aged women at church treat children. Big trigger as someone with social anxiety.

Dr. Fukushima is wonderful! Such a kind person and listens to his patients and seems knowledgable and experienced. I highly recommend him.

My wrist healed wrong he sat. He should take Medicaid patient's if he's the only Orthopedic trauma doctor working in the ER department! Considering the number of people that have it in Utah. Because he was the doctor that looked at my injuries including my wrist. When I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I had no choice but to have him review my x-rays and scans, or be transferred to another hospital. When you're in EXTREME PAIN you don't want another ambulance ride! So still in the hospital 14 days later, it's time to get new X-rays and review my healing. You would think since he initially treated you in the hospital, he would have the hospital get the new ones for him to review. NOT he insisted I go into his office miles away. The only way I was able to get there was by a medical van, because I still couldn't sit up. This was ridiculous and unnecessary! He made go through more trauma getting to his office. Then having to be lifted by the office staff laying on a sheet to get on to the x-ray machine was horrible! He looked at the X-rays and didn't even TOUCH ME and said, "oh there healing fine". Another ride in a bouncy van with my broken pelvis and sacrum back to the hospital. The hospital could have taken X-rays and sent them to him. But that way he couldn't have charged me for a $500 office visit. That was crooked behavior and charges! So you decide if you want to see him.

Absolute worst experience. Came to see Dr. Fukushima for a consultation and he made me very uncomfortable. After my initial consultation, he mentioned that he would go over the treatment plan with me after reviewing my records, he ignored my many requests for an update and when I went back to follow up with him, he discussed my case in the lobby and completely breached my privacy. When I called to complain of my abysmal experience, he called and harassed me, leaving voicemails on my phone that he wanted to talk to my college dean at the time about me. Extremely unprofessional.

Horrible time management on the doctors and the receptionists part. They aren’t great at communicating. And it seems like there were a lot of other disgruntled patients there so I was not pleased that they treat all their patients so poorly. People who didn’t have appointments were coming in complaining about their mothers care. Do not recommend this place at all.

I can tell the front office need more training. You can’t get answers, wait in line until some one notices you. I heard a March madness comment and we’ll that’s not right. They expect to get paid but bad customer service over all I didn’t like visit. Intermountain needs better offices for their contract license physicians. Also when I set up the appointment the lady who helped didn’t bother to tell me it was upstairs and also that they had an elevator. I had my grandma on wheel chair I had to pull my grandma in the chair through the staircase.

Dr Fukushima was great to work with. First was a broken collarbone and then with a torn rotator cuff. His explanation of what was happening with each injury was very clear and easy to understand. His optimism and enthusiasm for “getting back at it” was encouraging and motivating! I hope I don’t have the need for another orthopedic doctor next season, but if I do, I know where to go.
