List of Paul A. House's Reviews
Dr House is such a bad doctor unable to empathize with people in pain, he end up hanging on the phone call so we have to end up in the emergency room because he did not wanted to answer the calls anymore, when he was on call 😳.. With all that emergency room imply (pain, money and waste of resources)
Dr. House is a phenomenal physician and I am grateful for the quality of care I received. It should also be mentioned that his PA Holly is equally excellent. I underwent testing for epilepsy surgery in 2020 with the hope of resection(removing the area of the brain causing seizures). I had many questions for Dr. House and all were answered with patience, and I was ensured that I would be well taken care of. I received two brain surgeries under his hand this past December and in both instances the procedure and recovery have been better than expected. The first was a Stereo EEG to locate where my seizures were originating from. It was determined that my seizures were coming from two areas of the brain eliminating the possibility of resection. We decided that a second surgery to place a device would be best suited for me. I had full confidence in Dr. House based on my experience with the initial surgery. If you are considering a procedure with Dr. House you can rest assured that you are being treated by one of the best in his field. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. House to a family member or friend and would work with him again should the need arise.
Have had 2 neuro surgeries with Dr. House. His new location is a little harder to find and it's on a top floor (challenging for balance and sensory issues). Very professional and gets the ball moving when I was suffering badly. His is phenomenal, checking on me early on in my hospital stay! My family and I drive 6 hours from MT to see Dr. House and his capacity to work with complex illness and brain surgery! Can't recommend he and his staff enough!
Dr. House performed an MVD (microvascular Decompression) on me for trigeminal neuralgia (TN) in December 2016. From the minute I met Dr. House, I knew he was the man to help me. He has a great bedside manner and was even joking with me prior to surgery. When I woke up from the surgery, I knew he had taken care of my problem. I was able to eat solid foods for the first time in months. I got my life back, my wife got her husband and my children got their father. I can't thank Dr. House for saving my life. He is an amazing man and surgeon.
My family doctor referred me to Dr. House over 3 weeks ago. After a week had gone by, I talked to Dr. House's office--mind you, I called them to see what was going on. They told me that they were missing information from what my family doctor had sent. It was a Friday afternoon (7/12/19) and my family doctor's office closes early on Friday. So I called the family doc's office that following Monday (7/15/19) and told them what Dr. House's office had said. So they said they'd fax my information again. That Thursday (7/18/19), Dr. House's office called me and said they were still missing information. They said they needed a CD copy of my MRI and printed copies of the reports. I'm thinking WHY wasn't I told this a week ago? But I went and got the requested information from the hospital and took it to Dr. House's office the next day (Friday 7/19/19). As I gave it to the receptionist, she asked me if they'd told me how long it would be for Dr. House to read the reports. I told her no, she said about a week! Okay, so he's a busy guy. A week goes by, no phone call. Today Wednesday 7/31/19 almost 2 weeks after dropping the requested CD copy and printed report copies off to Dr. House's office, I get a phone call. The woman said that Dr. House wanted to know if I'd seen a neurologist. I'm like what the hell!?! That is why my doctor referred me to him!! She says well, Dr. House is a neurosurgeon. IF this was a problem, why wasn't my family doc told OR myself during the numerous phone calls or when I dropped off my reports were we TOLD that this was an issue?? Then she said, he also wants to know if I've tried other treatments/medications. AGAIN, yes I have. And AGAIN, that is why I was referred to Dr. House. She said, okay she'll give this information to Dr. House and call me back. So I said another week? Because it's been 3 weeks already. She says she understands--note: she didn't answer my question on how long. Bottom line? 3 weeks of still living in pain, 3 weeks of my life I won't get back due to Dr. House's office.
Dr. House was amazing. He was helpful and attentive during my son's initial consulation. He did a remarkable job during the surgery to remove a tumor from my son's brain. Like most doctors, he didn't hang for very long after he informed us of how the surgery went, but did answer all questions we asked. I would recommend Dr. House to anyone.
I've been Dr houses paitent for almost 10 years. After years of going to Doctor after doctor we found doctor house. He was able to perform my life changing Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. He is the most kind caring surgeon I have seen he's always been willing to take the time to explain everything so it is easy for me to understand. I would recommend him to anyone struggling with a movement disorder because of how amazing he is.
Dr. House treated a family member in a difficult emergent situation. In every follow up he never seemed rushed, answered all our questions and paid close attention to our concerns.
It's been over 2 years since my surgery/consultation with Dr. House and I can't recommend him enough. While my problem still persists, he and his entire office made me feel welcome and were extremely compassionate. I've had many surgeries and my experience with Dr. House and his team @ the Hospital were the best I've had.
Dr. Paul House is the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. His lack of empathy, understanding and lack of caring are unbecoming of anyone in the medical profession. As a result of negligence by he and his staff and his own unwillingness to listen to my complaints and diagnose my symptoms, I've suffered from excruciating headaches for over 3 years. Recently, it was discovered that my occipital nerve was impinged while under Dr. House's care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
