I had an appointment with Dr Kwun scheduled 6 months in advance. I received a call a couple weeks before my appointment asking to reschedule the same day but later in the day. I accepted and changed my schedule. After arriving, I was promptly taken back and dilated , had an eye scan, and asked to sit in the hall. I waited over an hour, no communication from staff whatsoever about the delay. Many people arrived after I did, and passed by me, saw the Doctor, and left. No communication from staff AT ALL! after more than an hour, I finally got up and told the staff I was leaving. They said okay and did I want to reschedule. Of course I don't want to reschedule after watching people come and go as I am left to sit. Terrible service!

After more than 1 hour, and seeing patients that came in after me see the Dr and leave, I got up and left. All this after I had a scheduled appointment 6 months ahead of time. They called me a week ahead and changed my appointment from morning to afternoon and then leave me sitting in a hallway for an hour with NO communication from staff. I would not recommend.

I was a patient of Dr. Robert C. Kwun yesterday, 9/9/16. My husband and I loved Dr. Kwun. He was such a kind, considerate doctor, and we knew right away that he was very knowledgeable. Read his resume and you will know he is an awesome doctor. I had a half-curtain appear in my left eye on 9/8/16, which lasted for 15 minutes. After many tests of my eye, he diagnosed my problem - I had a blood clot in my eye. He wrote a note to my PC doctor to follow up with tests, & to come back in 9 mo.

I've had three doctors treat my Macular Degeneration I think he was the best as far as organization, discussions with me, treatment success.

This man is arrogant, rude, late. He complained to his assistant about the ineptitude of the office manager (gossiping in front of patients is unprofessional). He did not listen to my questions; gave me unrelated answers. He did not help me in any way, and actually, his technique was painful. He pressed very hard on my eye with a q-tip (damaged my skin), then said, Look to the left! I told him I couldn't move my eye, he was pressing on it! He did this 2 more times! Not very bright!

I am very impressed with Dr. Kwun. From the time I met him, he was dictating a report to my referring physician into a handheld recorder. Very fast and highly technical. He immediately diagnosed my problem, and scooted me in for tests. I have total confidence in him.
