No concern for customers time or expense. I was put in touch with this company through my insurance provider. We talked and I explained to Mike Kofford the type of hearing aids that I currently had. I told Mike that I believe my hearing has diminished and that I needed a hearing test to determine that. I also told him that if he could, I would like him to evaluate my current aids to see if they could be adjusted to my hearing needs and if they could not be adjusted I would purchase a new set of aids from him. Mike assured that he could. I made an appointment with him for two weeks later. The day of the appointment came. Mike's office is 50 miles from my place of work. I took the afternoon off from work and headed for the appointment. While driving to the appointment I get a text telling me that his cables for my hearing aids don't work and I could get another appointment next month and he may be able to do it at that time. It seems like he had two weeks to determine if he had the equipment that was needed for the appointment. It is very poor customer service to wait just prior to the appointment, after the customer took time off work, drove 50 miles to be told "sorry". Sorry doesn't reimburse me for my time and expenses. I wonder what his no-show policy is?

I just received a delightful mail from this business. Here's a brief snippet of what they had to say to me: "You might be at risk of accelerated brain tissue loss, dementia, or Alzheimer's. Johns Hopkins Medicine released the results of a study showing that a person with untreated hearing loss loses an additional 1.2 cubic centimeters of brain tissue very year." It is disgusting to actively create and then prey upon fear in the quest to generate business. I would give them negative stars if I could...
