He came in to the office to see us, not on a regular appointment day. I'd been in extreme pain for several weeks due to a herniated disc pressing a nerve root and waiting for referral process protocol. His office fast tracked me in, he met with us, went over what was wrong and what he could do to help. We were very comfortable with his suggestion and we only have to wait 4 more days for the recommended surgery. Knowing we now have a plan I can hang on through the pain. He was an answer to my prayers.

I know Dr Welling is a great Dr. however this happened to me and it may happen to you. I started my getting a referral to see Dr Welling in July of 2022. Jumped thru all the hoops of seeing another Dr for a referral just to see his PA before even seeing Dr Welling. Got the MRI then waited a couple more weeks to see Dr. Welling. Its now August. Surgery was scheduled for Sept 12th, a week before surgery I was rescheduled for Sept 27th, 8 days before surgery I was pushed back again to Oct 11, 9 days before surgery I was pushed back to Oct 25th, then 10 hours before surgery I was pushed back to Nov 8......I'm done. I have no confidence that it will happen in November. Starting over with another Nero Surgeon I am in so much pain I can't walk more than 50 feet. My life is on hold because he is too busy for me. Be warned!

Dr. Welling was incredible. He took all the time necessary to fully explain my situation and guide me to the decisions that were best for me with patience and kindness. I also felt that his knowledge and skills are unmatched. You will be in good hands if you chose him for your care.

Don't see this guy for a complex CSF leak. All you end up with is a big medical bill. No help and no hope.
