Julia Johansson Md's Online Review Report Card

I love Julia. If you want someone to be your best friend and hold your hand, don't go to her. If you want someone with knowledge and experience who will take great care of you, I recommend her. She’s delivered all 3 of my babies. She’s very to the point. I have easy pregnancies and easy labors.. so for me I don’t usually have questions or concerns. I’m sure she would be great with anyone though.

I went in to see Dr Johansson because my original midwife was out of the office. I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have been dealing with constantly being sick during pregnancy and it’s starting to affect me mentally. She spent maybe 30 seconds on the ultrasound and not even talking me through it. She always was extremely rough with checking my cervix. Then this is the part that really was hard for me, when she asked if I had any questions I tried to discuss that my mental health was not doing good and began crying. She grabbed a tissue, told me to wait till my doctor was back from leave, and walked out the door. I was looking for support and was not even given the slightest bit of care. Prenatal depression/anxiety definitely needs to be a concern and not treated like it just is normal or something to rub off….

Sucky. Acted like she is too busy to be a doctor. Horrible hysterectomy. So many complications

I’ve used Julia for my first 2 kids and she’s been AMAZING. I’ve never had a problem with her. I did switch halfway for this 3rd baby due to a friend begging me to try out this other OB and that OB has amazing reviews so I thought why not, but I’ve honestly never had any problems with Julia and have really liked how she does things. Other reviews says she rushes but I feel like she doesn’t rush, she just gets things done quickly which I appreciate a lot. I’d rather not sit around all day at a doctors office when I have 2 crazy kids usually with me. I’ll be going back to her unless this new OB I’m trying out blows my mind somehow

She has an incredible bedside manner. And very knowledgeable I always feel safe and I can ask her anything she will always guide me accordingly. No question is too silly to ask! Dr. Johansson is truly amazing

I saw her for a bartholin cyst. She performed surgery and did not fix the problem. Then I got a second surgery from her, and the cyst still returned. Fortunately I got new insurance after that and was able to go back to my previous doctor. Upon visiting my previous doctor (who I only left due to insurance changes), she fixed the problem with a simple ten minute, in office procedure. She told me surgery is very uncommon for this type of cyst and completely unnecessary. Dr Johansen sent me to the operating room twice, under full anesthesia, and didn't even fix the problem (although surely made a lot of money off the two surgeries). I had an ongoing problem for nine months! Had I have gone to my preferred (old doctor) the first time around, the problem would have been solved on the spot in a ten minute, in office procedure. I am so upset that I was put through, And paid for, two surgeries that were both unnecessary and both unsuccessful. If you see doctor Johansen and she recommends surgery... GET A SECOND OPINION before she drugs you, cuts your body open and walks away with Thousands in her pocket for it.

Julia has been my doctor for over four years and she has always been amazing! She also delivered my daughter and has always answered any questions I have had. She’s really nice, but also so quick and to the point and gets me out of the office really fast! Honestly wouldn’t want to be seen by anyone else now!

Following a miscarriage I developed an infection and severe pain in my stomach. Julia said I was fine. After a surgery I found my bowel was adhered to my pelvic wall. Guess I wasn't lying about the pain! Then she said I did not have endometriosis. Another doctor biopsied and said I did have endometriosis.
