Paul Jensen Md's Online Review Report Card

Cant agree more with the comments below, he was late by an hour at his clinic, I guess that's the God complex they get and assume we all are inferior. I feel bad for his parents if they spend all that time and money on their child that he turn out like this. Now the meeting , he did 95% of the talking ,no eye contact, no humor no smile asked his nuro. questions without much input from me, squeeze test, turn, balance, hammer test all the typical pre-exam testing, I tried giving him some background history of a 30 year old spinal incident, but he was not too concerned that had anything to do with my headaches, I insisted that is there a possibility it did and assured me it was not the case. As most people we know our own bodies and doctors know what they have learned in school and in practice, Doctors, get off the throne and LISTEN to your patient . We are all not your typical 9 out of 10 types and you forget the 1% (me) we are not all prescriptions seeker, or looking for time off work, we don't enjoy waiting for appointments, paying for inflated parking and losing time off work.... IN the 20min appointment I was diagnosed as fine and should possible seek getting a neck massage to relieve the pain, that recommendation was thrown in the garbage as I left his office. I asked my GP for another Neurologist ,same type of pre-exam testing ,questions, reflexes ,grip balances, she asked her questions and then I mention my fall on my head 30 years ago which sent electricity down my arms, now the 9 out of 10 is number 1. sent me for an MRI and that fall with age showed disc bulge at C7 and most like is causing the pain in the base of my skull, and that this operation is very dangerous due to paralyses and is a last resort I hope Mr.Paul Jensen reads some of this reports and becomes a better doctor to be referred to , or stick to the ambulance chasing in the ER where your patient come in comatose or dying, then you don't have to talk to anyone. PLEASE change your ways or retire and give new doctors some space.

I honestly don't understand how Dr. Paul Jensen was able to get employed at the Rapid Access Medical Specialists Clinic in the City Of Mississauga close to Trillium Hospital on Hurontario at Queensway intersection. He is a very awful and not very knowledgeable Neurologist. The reviews below mine are 100% correct. He refused to give me a CT Scan of my brain and wanted to give me medication instead. He doesn't get to the root cause of any complex Neurological disorders. Also, my appointment was at 9:30am in the morning sharp and he was half an hour late. I was at the clinic half an hour before my appointment time. When he came and starting working at 9:30am in the morning there was another patient already in the waiting room ahead of me. I've been having very unusual brain swelling, muscle wasting, significant hearing loss etc for the past 8 years and he didn't help me at all. Very Unprofessional and also Rapid Access Medical Clinic is by far the worst clinic in Mississauga and they keep hiring unqualified teenagers to work as receptionists there. If you need to see a Neurologist who truly cares for patients, go somewhere else.

I just met Dr.Jensen, my immediate thoughts: thorough, and on the autism spectrum. He is very rushy, Yes, but I’m only leaving this review because after reading through these reviews, I feel as though people may reconsider his bedside manner with the spectrum in mind. He made no eye contact, and got frustrated when I responded to his question in a way he couldn’t understand directly as an answer. Write down your symptoms, hand him the paper. Best way I could see getting them across without interruption

Left for lunch before our appointment and still has not returned 2 hours after we have been waiting. Staff are not helpful and blame the doctor saying he is self employed so they can not make him be here for an appointment.

Absolutely horrible bedside manner. Rude, impatient, horrible communication skills. He really needs to be supervised while he is with patients. Only desperate people would go back for more of his unprofessional care.

This doctor is unprofessional rude and very abrupt made me feel uncomfortable and rushed me throw.

I strongly believe that this doctor is on the autism spectrum, which explains A LOT. I believe he's a very good doctor, and that he's just unable to communicate in the way that most of us expect. I ask people reading this review to please consider this possibility before judging his bedside manner.

Dr. Jensen is socially incapable of treating patients with any empathy. He rushed through physical exam and other tests. Makes it very hard to ask questions when he doesn’t make eye contact, provided no insight as to how to manage my medical issues. Please go see another neurologist, this man is HORRIBLE ..

This was the most rude and totally unacceptable attitude for a receptionist. Extremely unprofessional service starting from the receptionist and than meeting with the doctor. I guess she is getting her vibe from Dr. Jensen. Don't waste your time and energy to go there. None of your needs will be met.

The doc is alright hit hos Receptionist is rude and unprofessional!! Very ignorant and rude over the phone.
