Dr houpe is amazing she is alot better than the last Dr I had and her staff and office is very welcoming as well.. she listens to my questions and is very upfront about things as well as very patient when I try to explain things to her the best way I can..

I’ve been going to Robin for about 3 years now and she has delivered both my children! She is a great doctor, she has always answered my questions and been honest and kind. She is a very busy doctor and sometimes has long waiting times.. but It doesn’t bother me.. just like any other doctor office, sometimes you have to wait! She has always been patient and supportive with my questions, concerns and during the labor process! I will continue to go to Robin for any future needs!

Won’t be back to see her. Would not recommend.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Houpe. I would never recommend her. She was very rude and didn't actually care about me or my baby. I went in several times telling her things that I felt weren't right with my pregnancy and she just said "that's just pregnancy". But, It was my first baby so I trusted her and thought I was just being dramatic! Well weeks so by and i'm getting way more swollen and gaining tons of weight (I was losing my entire pregnancy) and finally I go in telling her I'm miserable and she said "I think you're fine but we'll do bloodwork just in case." I was 33 weeks and delivered that same day because my liver was failing. I had Preeclampsia that she didn't catch and then later turned to HELLP syndrome! It could've been diagnosed waaaaay sooner when I was telling her all my symptoms but SHE DID NOT LISTEN!! After I delivered my baby, she came in the room and said "I'm so glad we did bloodwork, I knew something was wrong!" I will never go back to her again!

I was recommended Robin from a friend of mine, she RAVED about her. So I took her advice and went with her had my OB. My first visit was ok, nothing too crazy usually how it goes in prenatal. When it was time for my anatomy scan I called the week prior to see if I could get an earlier date. My husband was leaving for a TDY and due to COVID I couldn’t bring my 3 year old. The receptionist said that I couldn’t change because she doesn’t like other Dr. to see her patients. So the following week after getting a baby sitter I called CoL to tell them traffic was crazy and I was running late. They said Robin was on VACATION and that she scheduled me with another Dr...I get there do my scan. Usually after your 20 week scan, you see your dr they go over the results. I walk out, the nurse asked me if I had questions and I said yes, she then told me she wasn’t going to take my vitals because it will be a quick talk. The Dr That they put me with could not be more bothered that I wanted to ask questions. I told her I was having trouble breathing. She asked if I had asthma I said no then she said to ask my Dr for an inhailer and I would be fine. I asked about my hernia she also said not to worry about it and that it will “fix itself”. I left feeling so mistreated, like a burden for these people to do there jobs. After going through my insurance and getting a referral to switch OB I called CoL to get my records transferred, that was on a Monday, on Tuesday they called me saying that they were looking over my anatomy scan and the they found a cardiac arrhythmia and that I needed to get a follow up with my new OB!! I asked why no one called me 2/3 weeks ago when I had the original scan? She said that Dr Houpe had just found it that morning!! Needless to say my baby is fine and I’m so glad that I found a new OB. Stay far away from this place!

Seriously she should find a new profession. I have never in my life been so taken back by an OBGYN! She 100% does not care about her patients, can't keep track of them, and will not care about any issues or questions you have! Please RUN!!! She is horrifying. -36 weeks and looking for a new dr is the last thing in the world any Mom to be wants to do!

We love Robin. She's been great to work with. She answers all my questions and takes her time to make sure I understand everything before any kind of procedure. I'm posting this at 37 weeks pregnant and I've been seeing her since I was 7 weeks. She's been absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.

Dr. Houpe was great during prenatal appointments.....until it was time for delivery. She stormed out of the delivery room frustrated that I wasnt pushing hard enough, and we found out (after 24 hours of labor and four hours of pushing) that my baby was in a bad position. No matter how hard I pushed the baby was never going to come out. This is something the nurse tried to point out to her earlier but she didn't listen. She is also unfamiliar with how to use the ultrasound machine at the hospital that I was delivering at. See her for in-office visits but save delivery for someone more patient and with a better bedside manner. O, and my delivery ended in a C-section after I was induced. I was in labor for 24 hours and saw her twice. Spend your money elsewhere.

Dr. Houpe is very insensitive, and clearly doesn't care about her patients. I went to see her because my husband and I have been trying for baby number 2 for quite a while. She told me that I am 23 years old and I shouldn't be in a hurry to have kids so she put me back on birth control to hopefully regulate my periods and we can start trying again in 6 months. She was very cold, and lacked empathy basically just saying oh you're fine because you are young. If I wanted to just go back on birth control to regulate my periods I would have gone to my family doctor, but I paid more money for her to spend 3 minutes with me and tell me I'm fine and I shouldn't worry about having kids even though that's what my husband and I want right now. Just super unprofessional and I would definitely never ever go back.

Would not recommend this doctor! Very cold, unprofessional, uneducated, and very rough with the exam! I’d been having heath problems that intermingle with the female reproductive system (other doctors have confirmed) she said that these symptoms were not related when we’ve discovered they were. Didn’t explain the procedure and was rough with the instruments and couldn’t even finish the exam. Extremely painful and left me sore for the rest of the day. Unprofessional by talking about personal life and over riding my personal values.
