Eyre Dermatology Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Eyre is so knowledgeable, yet so personable. He answered all of our questions, gave great care, while putting us at ease with the treatments. We have gone to Dr Eyre for more than 10 years and he has always taken great care of us!

Dr. Russell Eyre was so informative and thorough. I highly recommend this dermatologist.

The receptionist who checked me in was very pleasant and had me verify my information. The young woman, Sam, who took me back to the exam room covered my last exam with me and gave me clear instructions. Dr Russell Eyre was very kind, explained everything and was very thorough checking my moles and then “freezing” them for me. The receptionist who helped me schedule my yearly visit was also helpful and wrote me a reminder card.

Just got done paying the bill for my wife who was seen by Russell Eyre. Bill was fine, that’s not the reason for the review. The reason is Dr. Eyre was unprofessional and condescending. To give an example: my wife asked about any side effects that could occur relating to a medicine he wanted to prescribe. Pretty normal thing to wonder about the medicine you’re about to take. To this question, Dr. Eyre said “I don’t know, I can’t see the future,” Or something to that effect. That’s just one example of the many unprofessional things that happened during her visit. Another weird interaction: the receptionist. When my wife interacted with her, the receptionist kept insisting she was self-pay. My wife told her we had insurance and provided that (we also provided that information when we made the appointment). Receptionist kept insisting she wasn’t, and after some back and forth finally relented and ran the insurance. Not sure what the heck that was about. Was it some misunderstanding? If so, why was the receptionist so insistent, even when being told she was incorrect? And why did the receptionist just assume she was self-pay? She didn’t even ask for insurance information. I sure hope it wasn’t because my wife is a Latina. But again, based off how the interaction played out, I’m left wondering. All in all, we won’t be returning to this place. And you should look elsewhere, too.

I'd trust Dr. Eyre with all my abnormal skin growths. I never went to a dermatologist in Utah before so I didn't know where to go. Lucky for me I chose Dr. Eyre's clinic. I had a plantar wart on my heel that figured it get removed to protect my infant daughter. Dr. Eyre is so knowledgeable and seems to have a natural ability for teaching. He basically gave me an associates degree in dermatology by the time I was limping out of there. Every step of the process was explained fully and concisely. What a wonderful way to get a tablespoon of flesh cut out of your foot. His staff are kinda young and not by the book, which makes a great contrast to Dr. Eyre's approach. I love this place. I wish I had more skin issues to fix.

Dr Steve is always on schedule! Very personable and staff is very friendly.

Dr Eyre's staff were quick and professional. I was in and out in 25 minutes. Dr. Eyre himself has been a dermatologist as long as I've been alive and obviously has a very practiced hand and a very deep knowledge of what he's doing. I would highly recommend.

I had an appointment with Steven Eyre this morning and was very pleased. I am deaf and he was very careful to make sure that I understood through AI on my phone what he was saying. He answered my questions and didn't seem to be in a hurry to get my appointment over with. I would recommend Eyre Clinic.

I've been coming to Russ for almost 30 years. He is an excellent dr and always makes me feel like he is interested in my problems.

I asked for a quote regarding cyst removal, the receptionist gave three different options and basically said I need to pay for a visit before I could get pricing. I asked, well how much do those three options cost? She then gave me ballpark figures. This was the first office I called, and I was planning on comparing prices with other offices in the area that had good reviews as well. I said thank you, I’m going to call around to a few more places and see who’s best. She rudely slammed the phone down and hung up on me. Well, I definitely won’t be doing business with this place.
