List of Walter M. Snihurowych's Reviews
Not a good experience at all! I went to see Dr. Snihurowych and wish I never would have. I left the office with no more information about my issue than when I walked in the door. He spoke to me as if he had no time to see me and was very rude. No bedside manner at all. One of the worst doctor's visits I have had. Not recommended at all!
Dr. Snihurowych is an exceptional doctor. I have never waited more than a few minutes for an appointment. I trust him with my life -- literally.
Long wait, rude staff, misdiagnosis. This doctor is a joke.
Wally and staff were unprofessional and rude. He wouldn't listen to me as I explained my symptoms. He misdiagnosed me and I ended up in the emergency room in the middle of the night because he wouldn't help me.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Waited over an hour in the waiting room in extreme pain. The doctor and other staff were not private at all about other patients' medical information, shouting it back and forth across the office to each other in front of other patients.Dr. Wally did not listen to me, nor did he care. He treated me like an interruption in his busy schedule. At my appointment, he walked into the exam room, and without even asking questions or giving an exam, gave me a (wrong) diagnosis. When I told him that I was in extreme pain and needed help, he said, "You shouldn't be, this problem shouldn't be causing you this much pain. You're just all worked up about it." He said to go home and take ibuprofen. He also told me that if I went to the emergency room at Castleview and they called him in to treat me, he would tell the insurance that it was elective and they wouldn't cover it, because "there was nothing wrong with me". After several more hours of extreme pain, I drove up north to an emergency room where I was diagnosed correctly and properly treated for it.I wouldn't go to this so-called doctor again if my life depended on it.
I understand he was my husband's doctor. When my husband came back, if any problem. Dr. Walter M. Snihurowych did told us that if any problem then come back. We did then he said oh don't worry about that and it is normal. How can be normal for white cloud plus blood came out of bladder/kidneys. My husband did fired him, no longer to be patient with my husband.
Staff was unprofessional and rude. Dr. Wally was arrogant and unwilling to listen to my symptoms, and insisted I was fine. He misdiagnosed me, wouldn't help me, and I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night.
Dr. and staff were unprofessional and rude. Dr. wouldn't listen to me or help me, so I went to an emergency room (not at the hospital this doctor is affiliated with) to be treated.
My husband was referred to "Dr Wally" needing a catheter placed. The doctor would not listen to my husband and refused to place the catheter, insisting he didn't need one even though my husband had been unable to urinate for 2 days. In fact, the doctor went on to tell us that if we went to the ER and he was called in to place a catheter, he would tell the insurance that it was elective, therefore our insurance wouldn't pay for it. He suggested my husband go home and take ibuprofen and a bath. Hours later, after my husband was still unable to urinate and was in excruciating pain, we drove to an ER two hours away and they placed a catheter. Every medical professional we spoke to was shocked that this so-called specialist hadn't placed a catheter in the first place. I wouldn't go back to this doctor if he were the last urologist on earth.
Dr. Wally has been my urologist for years and years! Love him!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
