Dr. Christopher Ricks performed my cataract surgeries last month, and I had an amazingly good experience. He is competent, kind, communicative, and does his work at an exceptionally high level. Highly recommended. I will never go to anyone else. I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes, BTW, and the surgery was painless and easy.

Dr. Ricks is very professional, and he explains the procedure of the surgery and recovery so well. He was very thorough with the consultation, the eye exam, the screenings, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease about getting the surgery done. I had the PRK surgery done, and the recovery is more intense then the regular lasik eye surgery. But everything that happened during the recovery process, I expected, and it ended up being a lot easier then I thought! I can see now and won’t be needing my glasses or contacts and it’s all thanks to Dr. Ricks!

We've gone to Dr. Ricks on several occasions, he always listened to our problems, walked us through treatment options, and helped us to understand what was happening. I've never had an ophthalmologist give more care and attention to our needs than he has. Will definitely continue to use him in the future.

After experiencing some blurred vision, I went in to get my eyes looked at. Dr. Ricks was extremely helpful and patient as he listened to the problems that I was having and performed the eye exam. He answered all of my questions and gave me just the advice that I needed to help with my problem. He was very thorough during the exam to make sure that my vision problems were not caused by something more serious so that I could have some piece of mind. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ricks!

In January I had a broken piece of glass puncture a hole in my right eye. Within hours I was losing pressure in the eye and vision. I was fortunate enough to have an awesome team of doctors but of that team Dr. Ricks stood out. He gave strict attention to detail and sewed the puncture wound up. During and after surgery Dr. Ricks continued to put his best foot forward with me as a patient. He always took time to answer questions thoroughly. I appreciate the time he spent, skills, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Definitely a valuable doctor!

We met Dr. Ricks because of an eye injury my son incurred at work. Through the whole process - including exams and surgeries -Dr Ricks has been so kind and patient with us and our zillion questions. Dr Ricks has taken time to explain everything with understandable detail. How refreshing! We are thrilled with his care and feel so lucky our paths crossed. We appreciate the relationship we have started and look forward to many more years in his care.

I had PRK done on both eyes by Dr. Ricks in 2018. I had such a wonderful experience with him! He was intelligent and kind, patient and confident. The surgery went perfectly and my vision is PERFECT. I’ve worn glasses most my life, and PRK was a game changer for me!! Follow up appointments went smooth as I have zero problems. I highly recommend him! I always enjoyed our conversations, and his calm demeanor always made me feel safe and confident in my choice of him as my provider for my eyes!

Dr. Ricks was amazing. He listened to my problem with compassion, spent time with me, and gave me confidence in the care I was receiving. He was even helpful with my rambunctious toddler. Highly recommend him.
