Dr LachDr Lake Nona ofice caused severe damage to my daughter on her 4 front teeth, I have taken her to other orthodontists and no one wants to treat her.  My daughter is suffering a lot with her appearance and with her permanent pain, now he told me she needs surgery.  When she went there for the first time she had beautiful teeth, she just needed a little job and they deformed her teeth.  She was almost done with the treatment when they caused this damage. My daughter is 15 years old and it has been a nightmare all this, her life changed because of this  I give the Doctor one star because I have to, so I can post this. I would give 0 star if I could. The staff here are nice. However, the doctor is the worst. I come here for 10 months and I never can ask him any questions because hes never in the office. He just cares about money not clients. To ask questions I have to text their number, and it took a week for them to answer the question. My teeth were pretty straight, all I want is to bring them in a little bit because my teeth are protruding. In the beginning, they were very nice to get you to sign the paper and get your money. But after that, everything is terrible. After 10 months of treatment, i see no changes on my teeth at all, so I told the doctor and he wanted me to pay almost $900 more for the new machine. Thats so ridiculous. He should said that in the beginning. I was stupid to not check yelp for reviews before i came to this doctor. I saw a lot of people are mad and complaining about the same thing. Then the office replied with we cannot find your name in the system or dr. Lach has treated 20000 cases or they will blame it back to the client, which i guess they will use that to reply to me. Save your money and go somewhere else. I love the staff but not the doctor. I feel bad for the staff who have to work with this doctor. I bet they have to listen to a lot of complaints when its not their fault because the doctor does not see clients at all.

Everyone at Lach Orthodontic Specialists was friendly, professional, and courteous. Appointments were scheduled at your convenience, your comfort was a priority, and procedures were explained. Dr. Lach was courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. My husband and I were very pleased with his service. Great communication and a very smooth process. They made the entire experience a great one, from start to finish. It was comfortable and relaxing. We didnt feel any pain and Dr. Lach handled everything very lightly. I highly recommend his service to anyone.

Dont waste your money here! I really regret to choose this place in Lake Nona area for my braces treatment just because its close to my house.                                     Most of their dental assistants are lack of experience. Dont let them practice on you roughly without any apology when you spend severals thousands money here (Assistant Mina is the worst one, she has such a bad attitude and when she hurt me she didnt apologize to me but was still keeping yell at me; their Spanish Office Manager is never unable to communicate and speak English in a polite way...                                                                                They dont care about me at all, they are just rushing for money!!!

We had such a hard time here.  Ive never experienced anything like it.    The doctor doesnt wear gloves, very rude clinical staff, very disorganized. Not just one visit, but every visit there seemed to be national emergency, and the staff was so stressed.  I overheard one technician being very harsh with a could who popped a bracket.  I was horrified.  Please consider someone else.

This is THE WORST Orthodontic team I have ever experienced. They always are behind and run late despite you being the first appointment because you have a child and job and real responsibilities, so if you got that also, dont count your lucky stars on them being on time. I am now dealing with a dying tooth from the braces done by him and the dentist is nowhere to be found. I have had needed emergency services twice now and it is 100% impossible. For needing not only emergency bands put in place, and not having anything available for over a month what emergency is that? The second being now the customer service which is the number you call normally is garbage! They told me for the emergency they were in Lake Nona so I called out of work and ran over there. The office didnt open until 12 and when I go in the young lady tells me why would they tell me to come if they are all in a seminar IN ATLANTA. This staff is so unprofessional. I go in again this morning right at opening and told again he is not in until 11. Meaning I need to miss work again! Does he even work? I am disgusted that I might loose my tooth and nothing can be done about it? DO NOT WASTE YOUR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE PUSHED TO THE SIDE AND NOT TREATED IN A PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL WAY AT ALL!

The overall Orthodontist process is great.  The set your treatment plan and work with their patients twirls success.  However its the unscheduled visits that are a nightmare.  You have to text a number for emergencies.  Then you get a time to come in.  We needed a spacer put back in, a 5 min process.  We arrived at the requested time and sat for an hour!  No communication, no explanation.  We had to ask them what the issue was and finally she got seen.  The practice simply has too many patients.  Very frustrated to see it go from what it was to now.

77 reviews are currently not recommended and are visible through the Yelp app on my iPhone; I cannot see them on my PC.  I would caution anyone that would like to become a patient to please spend the extra time looking at these for a clearer picture of the practice.Our child became a patient based on the recommendation of our family dentist.  Thats all the research we did.  The sales process was fine; informative; and, full of disclaimers and limitations that we didnt understand; but, nonetheless expected.  And, the price was in line with our expectations.  Our childs teeth were a mess, with more than a few missing adult teeth; baby teeth that would not come out; an overbite; and, the like.  Through it all, we endured endless waits, rushed services, beratings from the doctor, late times, extended times; and, form after form to sign up for more services, such as whitening, retainer insurance and the like, which we never did.Worst of all, we received conflicting information regarding the plan and many times from the same doctor that had provided the update the visit prior.  We were not told why certain things were recommended or not. And, we eventually had to make an appointment with an oral surgeon to finally get the full picture.Our childs teeth are straighter; and, are in retainers.  We have only 1 more retainer set that the practice is under contract to deliver to us. At this point, we are going to transfer to another orthodontist and will simply pay for the retainers needed over the next few years.  The implants are coming; and, thats going to be up to 10 times more than the braces ever were, so we are preparing for that.If wed been treated with as much empathy and respect during the services as we had received during the sales process, this would have been a 5star review.  Almost all of the employees are great; but, the turnover is immense.  Its the professional staff; and, the turnover with doctors that have frustrated us.  Also, the long waits before and during treatments served only as major irritants.

This is my third visit. And all 3 times im not happy with what they did.  They set up my Appointments every 3 months.  My appointments  should be every 6 to 8 weeks, not every 3 months.  When I came back for the 3 months they just worked on my teeth for about 10 mins and i saw the tech write down 40 mins of estmated work/adjustment made to my braces. The actual time she worked on my braces was about 10 min.  After that then i came back to her to complain why i need to come back every 3 months. My friend is a dentist and she said I should come back 6 to 8 weeks. Then tech said  to me every  orthodontist is different ,my teeth need space ....bla bla...but like I made mistake and chose the wrong orthodontist.  They should take care of my teeth more often to see how they move, how it look doesnt matter at this time. The Tech told me to move away from a patient she had near by because she was afraid the patient was going to hear about it and bla ..bla after that she give me 6 weeks to come back.   The tech also mentioned if i want to know about my teeth i need make appointment with Dr Lach for an hour so he can answer my questions. Thats funny, he should take care of me and answer my question for every appointment i have with them . I really regret coming here.  If feel that im stuck with a uncaring orthodontist and his staff. Just Horrible .  One more thing, on my 2nd appointment the Tech burned my lip with the bracket glue.  She didnt care and didnt even apologize.  Very disappointed!!!
