I was referred to Dr Gunther by my eye doctor when they found a problem in my retina. He assured me that I would be in the most capable hands. I was very nervous for my visits because the treatment required to correct my issue was to get injections directly into the eye. Dr Gunther took great care as I have a severe phobia of needles (let alone in my eye). He took extra steps to ensure the least amount of pain and has methodically corrected the vision. Lastly, he was able to put me on a path to correct the problem in the bad eye that was horrible before I went to see him. I have not seen anything clearly put of my right eye for a decade. Fortunately, a second problem led me to Dr Gunther and I have significant vision back.

I just received PRK surgery at the hands of Doctor Justin Wilkinson and was very pleased with the results. The doctors and employees there are helpful and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and explain things so that anyone can understand them. I paid a little bit more then I was hoping but it definitely showed in the quality of care that I received. I am very happy with the way that I was treated. I would recommend Excel Eye Center for surgical procedures and other eye care.

I have seen Dr. Gunther for a couple of years now and I’m always extremely impressed with the care that I receive. He always takes time to answer my questions and I feel like I am getting the best care possible. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

If I could give him zero stars I would. He is awful. My father has permanent vision loss do to Dr. Gunther's negligence. When getting the procedure he hurt my father. Leaving him unable to do normal tasks for 4 days because of the irritation cause by the rough manner in which he was treated. He had 3 visits with him. 3 visits too many. He has been to 6 different doctors over a period of years for this same procedure. NONE of them debilitated him in such a way.
