MIchael H. Lauret's Online Review Report Card

This is my first bad review I have ever left and this is well deserved First visit for a newborn, and he started crying partway through. His solution is to strip the baby down and toss him from one hand to the other. Very aggressively. Not supporting his head very well. For the next 20 minutes, at least, he jumps from story to story about absolutely nothing related. How many pills his son takes before he eats pizza and why, how he avoided covid, how long he lived in Hawaii, how many pills of Vitamin K he takes, and more. My baby has a very obvious boy name and he called her a "she" which is fine. We corrected him that time and 2 more times after. My wife said "does his neck look stiff?" and He said, "No, HER neck is fine." That about sent her over the edge. He had zero awareness and treated our kid like a toy, still tossing him around. He was so clueless he couldnt tell my wife had been crying for 2 minutes and I told her to go to the bathroom to calm down. He didnt even know she l

The main doctor we saw was Dr. Lauret, and I felt he did a great job. We saw other doctors in that office as well, who were all great with my kids and me. I loved the nurses, and reception was very helpful with billing, appointments, and getting shot records to me(after we moved away.) I loved how child friendly the office is. Really great place.

My Daughter Alexis was one of Doctor Who raised first patients he is an excellent pediatrician he was an excellent neighbor to us and all together a wonderful man he's very kind and caring and I trust him with my children and now my grandchildren and pretty soon a great-grandchild. Thank you for all the loving care you have given my family over the years Dr. LAURET you are one of a kind. Sincerely D. Bybee

I LOVE dr.Lauret!! He has been my neices, nephews and kids pediatrition for 14 years!! He is AMAZING!! He always is right on with my kids aand knowing what is wrong with them and how to fix it. He always remembers details about my kids and even myself and my neices and nephews!! Definitly worth the wait to see Dr. Lauret!!

Dr. Lauret is supposed to be wonderful - from all I've heard, but I will never go back. My son had just recently had a tonsillectomy and was VERY scared of doctors - I told Dr. Lauret this, and instead of trying his best to make my son feel at ease, he plowed through with the examination, having me hold him down while he screamed. He then USED his fears to his advantage while he checked out his walking/running - he was taking advantage of my son's fears instead of trying to alleviate them. He also talked to me like he was reading out of a medical text book - I didn't understand a word he said. I did not feel treated like a customer - I felt like I HAD to be there and he did not care about my child. After he left the office my son said, "Dr Lauret is mean." My son has LOVED previous pediatricians, so this was enough for me. Never again.

What a refreshing find in Provo! Dr. Lauret is funny, smart, courteous, and makes both mom and baby comfortable. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great pediatrician!
