I was looking for a great experience doctor to perform the blepharoplasty. I was lucky to be able to find Dr. Engen by chance. He was very approachable and experienced. I felt very safe for him to perform the surgery on me. He had a great team working with/for him. I didn't experience much pain at all. The recovery was great! I had a great experience with Dr. Engen, the Central Utah Surgical Center, and the Excel Eye Center in Provo, Utah. If you were looking for a great doctor to perform blepharoplasty, Dr. Engen is the one for you! (He didn't pay me to say that :) :)

I was diagnosed with Horner’s Syndrome following a neck injury. My left eyelid was droopy and it effected me in many ways. Dr Engen did a surgery on my eyelid muscle December 7th and it is perfect!! No more shadows, headaches, or aesthetic difference between the right and left eye!! He is amazing, office is immaculate, staff is efficient and they run on time. Very impressive!

Five months ago, I had never heard of eyelid surgery. My ophthalmologist had told me about how I could benefit from it and recommended Dr. Todd Engen. Dr. Engen was extremely professional, personable, and an excellent surgeon. He explained the procedure, which was to correct drooping eyelids on both eyes, giving me a sleepy appearance and just beginning to interfere with my vision, The surgery and recovery went exactly as Dr. Engen had described. I was thoroughly impressed with the accuracy of his work. My eyelids are healing well. Others who I have had the procedure from him have no visible scars. Billing was straightforward and covered by my insurance (Medicare & United Healthcare Supplemental Plan G). I would highly recommend Dr. Engen to anyone who needs this procedure.

For years I suffered with drooping eye lids, which made me look drowsy and somewhat 'out of it,' The worst part however was driving at night - it was a visual nightmare. all the lights glowed with halos, like the star of Bethlehem. My eye doctor referred me to Dr. Engen, who performed surgery on my eyelids. I recommend Dr. Engen without reservation or hesitation. I appear to be alert with wide open eyes and see lights the way others do, instead of with a halo, as before.

Dr. Engen is so kind! He makes you feel extremely comfortable and safe. He does not double book patients and really gives them the time needed to discuss concerns, treatment options, and expectations. He does not pressure you into procedures. Instead, he tells you directly if a procedure would benefit you at this time or if it would be best to wait.
