Skylee Neff Speech And Language Therapy's Online Review Report Card

Skylee has been working with my daughter for the past few years. My daughter really struggled with the /sh/, /l/ and /r/ sounds. Skylee has been phenomenal with my daughter. She has worked with her on her speech sounds but also with her reading. I have seen a dramatic improvement in my daughter's speech and in her reading skills. Skylee is incredibly knowledgeable and comes prepared with fun games and activities that keeps my daughter engaged. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We love her!!

My daughter was struggling with the R and L sounds, also struggled with reading and writing and understanding what she was reading. We were lucky to have found Skylee she helped her improve with everything. It's great that she comes to the house makes her feel more comfortable and she always makes it fun with games or crafts that my daughter loves. We started having Skylee come when my daughter was in middle school, she had been having speech help through the school since she was 4yr and still way below grade level. The kids and teachers couldn't understand her so was scared to talk. When working with Skylee my daughter was able to improve on her sounds and also got help with her school work explained things so that my daughter understood. Now she is a great student know how to ask for help when needed and knows how to say her sounds so you can understand her. Was below grade level now she is in college classes doing great. Teachers are surprised how much she has improved. She is able to graduate from high school and plans to go to college. Before we weren't sure she would be able too. We are very thankful to Skylee with all her work she helped my daughter improve with school work, R and L sounds and to be more confident in talking to others. Thanks!

We can't say enough praise for Skylee. She worked with our teen daughter after we were told by another therapist that our daughter was likely to be unable to improve her 's' sounds. Her skill, wisdom and discernment in working with teens and attention to the interests of our daughter yielded fantastic results! She is a great therapist and so encouraging. Our daughter can now make all the associated 's' sounds clearly and articulately. Our littles (ages 7 and 4) made such huge progress under her skilled hand. They couldn't wait for Mrs. Skylee to come! Again, Skylee's wisdom and sensitivity to each person is outstanding. Our littles have several areas of speech that needed to be addressed. And the rapid improvement we have seen has been such a gift. And Skylee is kind, clear and encouraging with parents. It is such a help to be involved in the sessions and be able, encouraged, thoroughly supplied and equipped to work with our children throughout the week. We wish we could bring her along with us on our move. We will miss her greatly. We highly recommend Skylee!

I’ve left several voicemails over the past 2 months and have yet to ever receive a call back. On my last voicemail I asked if I could at least receive a call back to let me know if Skylee was maybe not accepting new patients at the time and maybe that is the reason no one is returning my phone call. Really disappointed that I have yet to hear anything back from anyone and I’ve been wasting time calling to schedule a consultation.

My 11-year-old daughter was struggling with her /r/ sounds. She was receiving speech therapy from school, but she wasn't progressing as quickly as we'd like. We contacted Skylee and she was able to come to our home on a weekly basis. Skylee was always on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable. She also made speech therapy fun for my daughter! My daughter progressed so quickly with Skylee, and we were so happy with my daughter's improvement. We would 100% recommend her to anyone!

Skylee helped my daughter with fixing the r and th sounds in her speech and also helped as a reading tutor. Her sessions were really fun and effective. My daughter’s speech issues were resolved quickly, in just a few weeks. As a reading tutor Skylee had very effective strategies that quickly helped my daughter to feel more confident in her reading abilities, once again leading to success and results. I love that Skylee comes to your house. It’s very convenient; and she’s fun, professional, personable, and helpful.

Our 4 year old son had a stuttering issue, and through a Google search we found Skylee. Our initial phone call was great, I felt like she asked a lot of questions and was thorough about getting the information she needed. From the very first visit, she was awesome with our son. The lessons were fun and engaging and my son always looked forward to when Miss Skylee was coming over. We only worked with her for a few months, but that's all it took to get his stuttering under control! Highly recommend Skylee, she is great with the kids and great at what she does.

Skylee is amazing! She worked with my daughter on her articulation delay and we loved her! My daughter improved so much over our year of work and Skylee was so encouraging and made sure we had the tools and resources we needed to continue working at home between our sessions so there wasn't a lapse. We LOVED Skylee and would reccomend her 100%!!

Skylee has been working with my 7 year old daughter who has struggled with her r sound. We have been so happy with Skylee's approach and she has helped us so much. In my initial phone call with Skylee, she listened carefully and seemed to understand what was going on with my daughter's speech right away. She even told me some things I could try right away. We had a speech evaluation and she gave us thing to work on at home, along with excellent advice to me about how to go about working with my daughter. My daughter started making progress right away and she has loved every minute of therapy with Skylee. She looks forward to the sessions because Skylee makes them fun and different each time. After only 4 sessions we have seen huge progress and she is saying her r correctly most of the time in her every day speech. Skylee is great to work with--she answers questions on the phone and has called me to make sure things are going well and to give additional ideas. Now that we are finishing up with the therapy, my daughter is sad because she wants to keep working with Skylee.

My 6th grader had been working with the school speech therapist for 2 1/2 years. He had made some progress in Speech but still struggled to produce a natural /r/ sound. The longer he was in there the lower his self esteem fell. We hired Skylee Neff to supplement his Speech at school. Within just a couple of sessions with Skylee it clicked! He understood how the sound should feel in his mouth and was actually excited to do his speech homework. Skylee had something new prepared each week. She was professional and got him to work hard. The meetings were fun but always productive. In just a few months time he was producing a solid /r/ consistently!! We were both so happy he could go off to middle school without this struggle! I'm incredibly thankful to Skylee!
