I had trigger finger on my right hand middle finger. I was referred out to Dr Olsen in February, I had the surgery on March 10th, the stitches removed on March 23rd. I was told the surgery would fix everything and I would be good as new after recovery with nothing else needed to ensure I am 100%. I now have little to no use of my right hand (yes, I am right handed). I can’t close my hand and I can’t open my hand completely. My regular physician just had to send out for a specialist to call me to see what (if anything at all) can be done to fix what Dr. Olsen messed up. DO NOT LET OLSEN TOUCH YOU! Go to a specialist outside of the Basin and Roosevelt area!

Dr. Olsen listens and is compassionate in his care for me. He has replaced both my hips and I am grateful to him and his staff for all their help.

LISTEN, READ & REVIEW: IF you're in need of any services relating to Orthopedics, GO NOWHERE ELSE!! This guy is the best the Basin has to offer. BELIEVE me. I've been to every other Ortho Dr. here. And this is where the buck stopped... Most recently, I went to see him for a knee injury. He had me in surgery w/ 24 hours of seeing him (knee scope). He actually listens to people, that's becoming a thing of the past it seems in medicine. GO SEE HIM. YOU WON'T REGRET IT !!! #1

Have you ever been to a doctor who seems to believe they have a magic touch & can diagnose you just by the sight of you? If you’d like to avoid that avoid this practice. I was misdiagnosed with bursitis solely because they said “lots of women have it.” It’s RIDICULOUS. I was finally given help for my problem and found out that they cortisone shot they gave me worsened my problem. Please please please do your research. I was desperate for help and my situation was made worse. It isn’t worth it.

Good surgeon, great guy who deserves 5 stars, but a business can easily be judged by its staff. Bad office practices/staff. I broke my femur 2 weeks ago and have been in sever pain for 2 weeks. I called in this morning for a refill on my pain meds (they schedule 7 day appointments and only prescribe 5 days worth of pills) I'm on day 6 but I wont have enough to make it through the night. They informed me that I should have requested my refill last Thursday. How am I suppose to know that when I was in the office on Tuesday. How was I suppose to know they only gave me enough pain medication for 5 days. And how was I suppose to know they would be out of the office Monday. Now I have to make another trip to the ER because a paid practitioner and businesses is incompetent of taking care of its patients. I hope that girl I talked to breaks her femur and is left in the same spot I am. Poor practices to say the least.

I had a tibial plateau fracture and Dr olsen said I didn't need surgery, I've ended up having 2 surgeries since to correct what could have been solved by Dr olsen putting a few pins in it when I broke it. My knee is ruined because of him.

I would recommend Dr Olsen to anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon. He recently performed a bilateral total knee replacement on me. I am six weeks and one day out from surgery. My range of motion is ahead of schedule, my legs are straight for the first time in my life. I was able to get off pain meds quickly. My incisions look great. I am very happy with the results. He is a highly skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner and he has access to state of the art equipment His staff are also great to work with.

Absolutely do not go to this man. Within a few months he did surgery on 2 of my daughters...one shoulder and one knee. After months of physical therapy our PT told us to get a second opinion on both girls. We went to 2 different very reputable Drs in Park City. The knee surgery he said he did...he did not even do. The shoulder surgery he never should have done. She had to have the surgery undone and then the real problem fixed. I repeat...Absolutely do Not go to him!

He is not a competent Dr. After going to more reputable Drs we found out that he did not even do the surgery on my daughters knee that he said he did, and he tightened another one of my girls rotator cuff in her shoulder and should have not. She had to have a surgery to undo what he did and then another to fix what he should have fixed in the first place. Don't learn the hard way like we did. Do not go to him!!!
