List of Utah Surgical Associates's Reviews
I needed to have my chemo port removed a simple outpatient procedure. These guys made the whole process relatively simple quick and painless. My wait time wasn’t too bad. I just expect wait times to vary anyway and I wasn’t in the lobby too long. The surgery went great I can’t recommend Dr. Myers enough he’s simply fantastic.
I had an appointment with Dr Jennings for a hemorrhoid and he and his assistant were rather unprofessional. I heard him ask his assistant outside the door if she was ready and she replied I dont know if I will ever be ready and then they walked in. I was already embarrassed and that comment helped me feel even more so.I feel that bedside manor is of the utmost importance. Unfortunately it was severely lacking.
I love the service when I had my surgeries but when the world shut down I needed time to pay my co pay and was told I had til the end of May. I felt there was no compassion for a senior that husband was out of work for 10 weeks and a child at home. So I had to put it on a credit card and now go in debt. ☹️
Dr. Jennings did a gallbladder surgery for me in December and I was very pleased. However he performed a G tube surgery for me in October and it’s been a terrible experience. The placement of the tube is extremely odd. I have never seen a tube in the area he placed mine. It’s also in the flashiest part of my abdomen which is making the placement of a low profile button a real challenge. His office has refused to answer questions order measurement tests or do any follow up treatment for me since the procedure. They don’t seem to know enough about feeding tube procedures to be performing them. Other than the placement I’m unsure if the issues are with Dr. Jennings or the people in his office. What I do know is that regardless of who is refusing the after care it’s being refused at a vital time after a major operation. I’ve had nothing but problems with zero support from USA. I’m extremely disappointed with me entire experience. I truly hope that this is an isolated incident perhaps with assistants rather than than doctor himself as he was fantastic with my first operation.
Wow My husband had hernia surgery on Wednesday. Dr Jennings came in asked about meds told him he’d be putting him on Percocet. I couldn’t remember what my husband tolerated best after his back surgery that either that or loratab didn’t work well. My husband told the dr yes that was the best choice. After surgery the nurse comes in with a prescription for loratab. We took it home hopeful it would work by Thursday morning he was in pain and non stop headaches. Called your office. No answer. Text your office. No answer. Then a text saying it was being sent to his assistant. A bit later called again. No answer. A while later received a text saying the new prescription was called in. A few hours later called the pharmacy. Not sent in. Called your office back. Was told it could take 2448 hours WOW That was Thursday. Called the office again on Friday and you are closed??. Here we are on Sunday. That’s far more then 2448 and what kind of wait time is that????? I’d never recommend your office to anyone and anyone looking for a surgeon beware because their patients don’t matter.
Had a very unplanned surgery. Dr. Miller was fantastic and the whole staff here is just amazing. They were very patient with me and all of my questions. Especially Debbie. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
My one experience is they are fantastic at billing reaping a tremendous amount of $$$ from my ins company for minor surgery but poor non existent really at patient follow up concerns. Good luck. Surgery is tough enough without having to deal with poor patient communicationfollow up you will never be allowed to speak to a doctor and if you think things are off with your surgery you will be on your own post op. I end up giving mostly 5 out of 5 stars for any medical reviews in St. George. It is a first class town for medicine in general. I am sure if you come from a large town like Vegas or LA Utah Surgical would probably just be the norm of medicine today.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
