Dr. Crum's office and her assistant are just the best. They are willing to answer any and all your questions. Very understanding of any situation. Love this office!

Both Dr Cume and medical assistant were kind and supportive. Made an uncomfortable visit the best it could be. Saw me in an emergency and gave great care. The whole office team was super too!

Dr. Crume is wonderful. She communicates and explains things well, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. I've had two surgeries through her for my progressive colorectal condition, and I had my father accompany me throughout the consultations for the second one, helping me go through the information and decisions because he is a retired general surgeon who performed many of the same surgeries as she does. I know he was impressed enough with her surgical skill, communication, and bedside manner that he just referred someone to her. He knows a lot of surgeons, so that says a lot. If you go to her you can be sure that she will do whatever is in your best interest in the least invasive way possible, to get the results needed with the quickest healing time. And you won't get the cold, distant interaction you do with a large majority of surgeons who don't make the effort to connect. Highly recommend her.

Abby Crume is a very bright, talented and compassionate doctor. She is friendly and has taken very good care of me. Before my last surgery she could see that I was cold and wrapped me in a warm blanket at the hospital. She definitely knows what she is doing. She has a great bedside manner. I'm thankful for Abby's skill and kindness.

Dr. Crume, after tests and diagnosis, implanted the medtronics Inter-Stim device to resolve Bowel Incontinence. The surgery was perfect, the results were a 100% resolution of a most debilitating of conditions. In short, Dr. Crume gave me my life back. Thanks to her, Medtronics and St. Marks Hospital.

I was not a patient of Dr. Crume, however my grandfather was. I'm disgusted to hear of the neglect that came from her in regards to his situation and he passed away hardly three days post surgery. She prescribed no antibiotics upon being sent home because she "didn't think it would be necessary". The cause of his death was sepsis. My husband was a patient of Dr. Crume. He went in for his minor surgery on Thursday, April 1st. On Saturday, April 3rd he was very sick and I took him to the emergency room. After the surgery, she did not think an antibiotic was necessary.
