Went in after a frozen shoulder exam had an odd effect on my arm and hand, leaving me without use. Dr. Newton was fixated an Parsonage Turner Syndrome which I knew I did not have and told him so. He was certain that was the rare problem. After nerve testing he I formed me that no, I did not have that and I was a "mystery patient" and he had no idea what was wrong. That was the literal end of discussion. No advice, no other testing, just left the room. His staff never sent records to my ortho shoulder doc. Finally I am seeing someone at the U of U who is helping. I wasted a lot of time and money here.

We saw Dr. Newton for an EMG to help provide prognostic information for a nerve injury. Dr. Newton performed a thorough physical exam first, spent a lot of time finding out about the injury and current symptoms and then performed the EMG. Afterwards, he clearly explained his findings, and what he expects in the future. Very professional, and terrific explanations that were clear and easy to understand. I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Newton has treated my back problems for over 20 years. His interventions have kept me from having to have back surgery. He is caring. He listens. He is thoughtful. He is everything you would want in a doctor. I have recommended him to several people and all of them have been extremely happy

Dr. Newton has treated my back problems for some years now. I have total confidence in him as each treatment relieved me of relentless pain. He is conscientious, returns telephone calls ASAP and explains procedures clearly and patiently. I just hope he doesn’t retire for a long time. Feel comfortable to make an appointment with him, he doesn’t disappoint.

If you're looking for a guy to just prescribe pills you don't want, and not listen to or treat the issue, this is your guy... And hopefully you don't have to deal with Michael in the front..

Dr. Newton has been my back doctor for 10 years. During that time he has been a lifesaver. He has diagnosed things that other doctors have missed. He is very informative and explains exactly what is going on. I would recommend him to anyone
