My mother had 2 total knee replacements at the same time. She recovered quickly and never had a minutes problem with either knee for the remainder of her life. 15 years. She loved Dr. Mariani and how he treated and cared for her. Highly recommend.

Dr Mariani and his PA Robert J are the best!!! St Marks hospital is great with patients too, they take such good care of all their patients. I had my right hip replaced yesterday and today I am at home walking and doing most of my activities by myself with caution of course. Thank you so much for my new hip 😃

This is the best doctor and staff that I have ever had the pleasure to be helped by. Dr E Marc Mariani replaced my right hip 9-2019 and my left hip 2-2021 and I feel great. No more liimping or pain when I walk or rest. Every one of his staff have been super, especially Robert Johnston. I never had to wait long for appointments, which was an added bonus.

My Mariani Total Hip Replacement surgery was two weeks ago tomorrow. I'm walking without crutch or cane, totally off pain meds, free to drive and know normalcy will return in very short order. Dr. Mariani pioneered the anterior surgical approach in Utah not long before my other hip was replaced 9 years ago. I am the poster child of his enthusiasm for the procedure & his true professional pursuit of excellence. Dr. Mariani has built an unbelievable team immersed in ever detail of surgical assistance and patient care follow-up. I can't imagine a better experience from anyone anywhere. Perhaps they should think about renaming the hospital as St. Marc’s

My husband, 85,had a hip replacement 5 weeks ago. Had an appt wi another Dr for 6/25(made in Jan). We let it go b/c of the virus, but the pain was too much. Called Mariaani's ofc, spoke to a WONDERFUL WOMAN named Burl, who was understanding about his problem, she made an appt to see him for xrays the next morning. WOW! we could hardly wait! Xray showed - hip was an awful mess! Met wi Dr Mariani & Robert Johnstun - next and had an appointment for surgery in 2 weeks. Imagine we had waited almost 5 months in pain. God Bless Dr Mariani who was willing to see him, his wonderful staff who talked to me about his health and made the appt. His 4 week check up = Zero pain! So sad I waited to call Dr Mariani. I thought he had retired. HE CAME BACK! Everyone in that office was professional, understanding and sympathetic to his plight. Thanks to Dr Mariani's skills as a surgeon he is walking without a walker or a cane! So what grade would I give him and his wonderful people = 10!

Dr. Mariani performed a total hip replacement for me the first part of November. During my first consultation, an x-ray was taken after which Dr. Mariani explained my problem (bone on bone). I had a few questions prior to the surgery and called his office. All my questions were answered with each phone call. The surgery went very well and my recovery has been above my expectations. I am free of my previous pain. The entire staff (front office and his assistant) are professional and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Mariani for orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Mariani and his staff were amazing! I needed a hip replacement for probably at least 5 years, but I was really quite nervous about it. Eventually the pain was so bad that I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Mariani because a friend referred him. From the very first, he put me at ease and was so nice and reassuring! I scheduled the surgery and it was instantly a relief! The first week I had pain because of the surgery, but my hip joint did not hurt any more! Now, after 5 weeks, I truly wish I had done it sooner! Dr. Mariani and his staff were the best! I'm so happy I chose him!
