Always an extremely long wait - just for allergy shots. A lot of staff turnover. Unprofessional. Make you wait for an hour only to tell you your allergy serum is expired and someone should have called
Poor communications and unprofessional approach on all accounts. Their Salt Lake office closed down with no notice while my serum was held as a hostage down in Riverton. I had 2 choices, A: drive 50 miles RT to retrieve it myself, or B: pay $35 shipping fee with a roughly a 2 week shipping time, not happy with either choice.
The staff is slow and they don’t follow through with what they said they would. I have not experienced this type of treatment or incompetence from any other Allergists.
Wasatch Allergy and Asthma has gone down hill. They haven't returned several of my voicemail messages AND they didn't tell me their Salt Lake office was closing. I found out by reading the note on the door. Not a good way to run a medical practice. I look at their website and their Riverton office isn't open on Friday. Looks like I will be looking for a different Allergist.
I went to get my maintenance allergy shot and pay my bill on Friday, 10/14/2022 and found the SL Office was closed down and completely empty!?? A note on the door said they had to close suddenly at the end of September due to staffing issues. Tried calling the Riverton office several times over the next week and left messages and none of them were returned. Finally got a hold of Camille K. and sent her the forms to move my medical files and allergy shot serum to a new allergist in Bountiful which she promised to do right away. Today (2 weeks later) I go to visit my new allergist and they still don't have my files or the allergy shot serum. The Staff (Michelle Davis, Maribel, Liana, etc.) were great! I went to the closed Salt Lake office weekly for 2.5 years and the staff did a great job getting me in an out for my shots! Never met Dr. Eric Chenworth but I have to wonder if he is the problem behind their staffing issues? They also instituted this third party billing service recently
horrendous experience with this office continues.... i was a new patient in May 2022 following some unusual reactions. After several appointments and follow up appointments, I went in for some test results, paid $40 co pay and was told that they never received the results from the lab... to which I wondered... why wouldn't they ensure they had the test results before someone comes in for an appointment SOLELY to hear the results. I was at the office for two hours as they attempted to get ahold of the lab, requested i send in additional authorization etc. I was told by staff to leave and that the provider would call me by the end of the day with results (it was a friday). by 4:30 I hadnt been contacted so I called the front office to check in. They ASSURED me that the provider would call me before the end of then work day. Are we surprised that they did not? I was fuming and then realized the office wasn't open on Mondays. Not only does this office NEVER return phone calls but they were so blaze about not following up with me. Turns out they never received all my lab work because the lab did not do all the requested tests. Fast forward, I just received a bill from Wasatch Allergy and Asthma almost 4 months later- they are charging me for the $40 co pay (that they already reimbursed me for the first time ) and some other fee that the billing department can't explain to me. Run far far away and DO NOT schedule an appointment here. The staff could care less.
It's time for me to move on. I hate to leave a bad review but I also hate to see people in need of medical help treated poorly. My 1st appt lasted 5 hours! I saw the Dr for 5-10 min at the end. Subsequent appts have always been with the NA. I have been a patient for 7 months and still do not have a treatment plan due to extremely poor communication of the NA and the office staff. When I asked for an appt with Dr Chenworth I was told he only sees new patients. My latest appt was several weeks ago. The office called me the morning of the appt and told me 'the office will be closed for the day", would I reschedule? Which I did. The day of the rescheduled appt I drove 60 miles to SLC and received a call at 11 am. The person told me they needed to reschedule my 4:30 appt "because the Dr is leaving at 2:30". They would need to reschedule me. I rescheduled the rescheduled appt 4 days later, drove 60 miles to SLC again and when I arrived they told me they didn't have me down for an appt. I'm a nice church going lady so I'll leave it at that.
After seeing the Dr for 5-10 min of my initial 5 HOUR appt 7 months ago I still do not have a treatment plan. I have only been able to see the NA and when I requested an appt with the Dr I was told he only sees new patients.
Pro: Doctor Chenworth is extremely detail oriented and good at problem solving and listening to your needs, and respect your boundaries. I was impressed by how patient he was when it comes to answering my questions, how fast and good he was when it came to finding solutions that were not only good for me but also emotionally comfortable for me. Con: Extremely long wait time, which is understandable because people who are detail oriented tend to run over time with other tasks frequently. But I did spend all together about 90 min just waiting and doing nothing. I will bring a movie to watch next time when I'm here so I at least will have something to do. But I think I do need to take out 1 star for this inconvenience that I experienced last time.
Very friendly and helpful

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
