List of Fawad A Tanvir Md's Reviews
Dr Tanvir informed me that having practiced as long as he had he preferred if I went to a different doctor for treatment. It’s been months and he still hasn’t forwarded my records to the new office, and they aren’t returning my calls. In addition the office told me my insurance was covered when scheduling only to discover I’m not in network. Find a different doctor
Very knowledgeable and attentive. I’m grateful for the time he took explaining my infection 8 months post-hip replacement. I appreciated the personal phone call and attention. Dr Tanvir worked closely with my orthopedic surgeon Dr Nikolaus to quickly eradicate what could have been a serious complication.
Very thorough and takes time to explain everything.
Dr. Tanvir is a terrible doctor. After my wife's second toe amputation due to a infection that was not healing after several weeks of treatment at a wound clinic, R. Tanvir was called in to oversee any post surgery treatment that would be needed. After a 15 minute interview with the doctor he left and ordered treatment of without waiting for any results of biopsy for the tissue and removed toe consisting of 2 different drugs administered via infusions all without even talking to us about the treatment. He also order blood draws 2 times a week and never notified us of the results. He would not take calls or respond to messages left. Sheila Jolley February 20, 2020
Fantastic Doctor! The only thing better would be if he had an office in Utah County. Personable, great sense of humor, and so knowledgeable.
Sadly three stars due to staff and lack of communication. Had a biopsy ordered, I was never contacted on results or follow up on phone calls or emails from MA until I complained. Also had 28 vials of blood taken and never heard back on results-Unfortunately I really like Dr. Tanker. Ended back in ER because lack of communication. I hold his MA mostly accountable for lack of communication.
NO follow up or follow through with my daughter who had the unfortunate luck to have him for her doctor. He put her through a living nightmare. Prescribes antibiotics with no testing. Says he is calling in a test but never does. Does not look at test results. Has no clue what he is doing for her. My daughter had to show him her results from an MRI. Giving her continuous IV and Pic line antibiotics for an infection that numerous blood test shows she does not have. And the latest negligent thing he did was to cause more harm and stress to my daughter and this entire family over a highly contagious illness that he failed to test for, nor did he follow up with her. I thank the ER doctor at Lakeview hospital where she ended up because of the negligence. Because of the ER doctor, we know from the test that she was suppose to have, that they did on her, she does not have the Contagious illness. So the antibiotic he had her take caused more problems for her.
Dr Tanvir is amazing. He knows germs and antibiotics in an amazing way. Almost a second sense. He did miraculous job when my husband had multiple problems and he always knew what to do. Saved my husbands foot when others wanted to amputate.
Dr Tanvir saved my mother's life!! He was attentive to her very open with all test results and treated her as if she was a queen. I would go back in a second if I ever needed his care.
Dr. Tanvir is positively the most incredible doctor ever with a bedside manner to match!! Ten days after my right hip replacement I developed an infection. The day after my 2nd surgery to wash out the incision he came to my hospital room & literally got on his knees, took my hand and told me that I had contracted MRSA -- my wife & I were devastated. He had a PICC line installed in my arm & after 42 days of antibiotic Infusions the MRSA was finally under control. Dr, Tanvir truly saved my life!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
