Jakub Sikora's Online Review Report Card

Great results with Dr. Sikora! He was very attentive and listened to my symptoms and concerns. When we decided that surgery was the right option, I expressed my concern that the insurance may not approve the surgery based on past experience. He said you can't make health decisions based on the insurance and that they would work that out. We moved ahead with the surgery a week later. Back and leg is feeling much better. I had lost significant muscle loss in my right leg over the past 5 years. With exercise, I can feel muscles working in my right leg I haven't felt when exercising in years. I expect to be able to recover that muscle loss. His whole team has been great to work with. I recommend Dr. Sikora wholeheartedly!

Dr Sikora was an amazing experience from start to finish, always communicated well and was able to answer questions in a way that made sense to me.

I had been struggling with back pain that would travel down my legs for almost a year. Got to the point where I couldn’t even stand up straight at work or even get the sleep i needed to go to work I was in so much pain. Had gotten multiple injections from previous Dr. . Also physical therapy. Nothing seemed to help. I wasn’t really wanting to get surgery but if that’s the only thing that would get me back to doing the things I love to do. I wanted to find someone that was the best, and I felt like I found the person to do my surgery I did a lot research on Dr.Sikora and after meeting him I knew he was the person I wanted to do my surgery. He seemed to really care and had good vibes and explained my Mri results to me on why I was feeling the way I was. He recommended that a discectomy would take away the pain/discomfort I was having. I really appreciate the staff for being as patient as they were I had to cancel appointments and reschedule because of workman’s comp. They had no problem with it I went in for surgery on the 4th everyone from nurses to the whole OR were very kind and caring. Reassuring me everything was going to be ok. When I woke up from surgery the pain in my legs was completely gone I was so surprised. I left the same day. Dr.Sikora also took time out of his to personally call me. He called multiple times after the surgery too see how I was doing. I am very pleased with results. Again thank you Dr.Sikora I appreciate you beyond measure.

For over a year I had pains in my back and legs finally it was getting very painful to even sit on any chairs. Dr Jarvis referred me to doctor Sjakub Sikora for a consultation to find out what could be done. Dr Sikora after aome xrays explained to me what was happening with my spine. He and Ally his assistant made me feel right away at ease. His cheerfulness, positive attitude and great reviews encouraged me to listen to his expertise and recommendations. It has been six week since he operated on my spine and yesterday he said I graduated. I have no more pains. I can walk as much as I want , work in the garden and resume all my previous activities. I just wished I has seen him earlier. I recommend him to any one who is in pain. Not only he is an expert but I gained a friend as well as his cute assistant Ally.

My name is Jaimee Tolich I had disc C 2, C3, C4, C5 and C7 in bad shape. My right side shoke so bad I couldn't hold anything in it and extreme pain daily. I was having migraines daily, my left side was getting as bad as the right. Dr. SIKORA meet me and right away said it wasn't a life at all. He had a plan of action My neck throw a wrench in that plane. His words " I have never seen something happen like that before. He stayed calm got me throw it chanced is plan on thr spot. Instead of 2 disc replaments turned into 1 replacement, 1 patch and 1 fusuion. From the minute I woke up all the problems I had was gone. I have had a migraine like I haven't felt in over 40 years, cause the fluid sack that's not supposed to break did on this poor guy. He fused it, patched it. He has been there every step of the way to make sure I'm ok and calls to check on me to let me know he's there. His nursing staff and head nurse has been amazing. He is a kind hearted funny guy. You saved my life twice doc. I joked I got to have a cute guy dance in my neck. He is a man that cares completely not just "well did my part by" like some many do. If that man says it's time for surgery it is, he doesn't just to provo himself, he does it from his heart. Thank you so much doc. Jaimee tolich

I've had lower back pain for most of my life, with it becoming worse and worse over time. About two years ago I started getting sharp pains shooting down thru my hips and legs. I always swore I'd never let a surgeon near my back with a scalpel, but with the pain I was in, I changed my mind, and was referred to Dr. Sikora. At my first appointment, it was obvious to me I'd met a Dr. (and a person) who is incredibly warm, friendly, and upbeat. The fact that he sounded like he knew what he was talking about regarding my back also helped! My procedure was a lumbar decompression. (No fusion but he cleaned away all the stuff that shouldn't be in and around two of my vertebrae.) Before and after surgery Dr. Sikora was there doing his best to cheer me up and explain all that was going on. And then he called me at home every day for the next four or five days after the surgery to check on me. His bedside manner is without question an A+++ About six weeks after surgery, I'm happy to report NO shooting pains and very little surgical site pain remaining. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Sikora!

Dr. Sikura provided the best medical care and experience I have ever had. He was extremely competent, knowledgeable, forth-coming, and honest regarding my condition.

When what I first thought was a simple knot causing nerve issues turned out to be 2 herniated discs in my neck, I ended up in dr. Sikora’s office for a surgery consult. I cannot recommend Dr. Sikora, his PA Ally and his nurse Savannah enough! From our initial meeting and through the whole process of surgery, I felt truly cared for and informed. His empathy and expertise while being in the middle of a very scary time and sudden injury was beyond what I expected from a specialist. Let’s be honest-specialists tend to be slightly snooty. This man truly cares and is great at what he does. I’ve fully recovered with no limitations or lasting pain either! Major props to Dr. Sikora, Ally, and Savannah. Best team ever!!

After being at another hospital that could not tell me what was wrong, Dr. Sikora and his staff was able to diagnose the problem, and do surgery to fix it in only a couple of days.
