List of Jules Aljammal, Md's Reviews
I am so grateful I found Dr. Jules Aljammal. I had a large toxic thyroid nodule, and I had been testing for hyper thyroid for years. My previous doctor suggested surgery which I didn't want to do. Dr. Aljammal is the top thyroid doctor in the country/world for radio frequency ablations. He is caring, listens, and takes his time with his patients to thoroughly explain everything and answer all questions. Today, one year later, my levels are normal, I have a working thyroid, and no surgery. Thank you Dr. Aljammal!!
Treated my daughter for thyroid cancer. So compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Was always willing to take time to answer questions and never left feeling rushed. Have recommended him to others.
Great Care! He is my savior! Not only has he got my thyroid balance under control, after going to six different doctors for a lump on my neck and getting nowhere, he took the time to do all the tests, including an ultrasound and found I had lymphoma. He worked to get me into an oncologist the next day and I ma now cancer free. I would recommend him to anyone.
I'm incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Aljammal who is one of the top doctors in the country for thyroid RFA (radio frequency ablation) procedures. I was adamantly against thyroid surgery and pushed off treatment for several years until I found the Thyroid Clinic. I had RFA treatment on a large, toxic nodule three months ago and my thyroid is back on track now. No surgery or a lifetime on replacement meds! Dr. Aljammal is intelligent, personable, takes his time to explain everything and listens to your questions and answers them thoroughly. If you have any thyroid issues, I highly recommend!!!
I can't praise Dr. Jules Aljammal and the Thyroid Clinic in Utah enough! In 2018, I was diagnosed with a goiter, and by 2021, it had grown, necessitating surgery. However, I was apprehensive about surgery and started researching alternatives. That's when I stumbled upon the remarkable Dr. Aljammal. I learned about him through a Facebook group called "Save Your Thyroid," where I found out that he was the first in the United States to perform Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) in 2018. I knew right away that I wanted to consult with him. Two weekends ago, I flew all the way from California to meet Dr. Aljammal at his clinic in Utah. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Dr. Aljammal's gentle touch during the fine needle aspiration procedure left me pleasantly surprised; I didn't experience any bruising, which was a significant contrast to my previous experiences elsewhere. Now, I eagerly await the results of the fine needle aspiration, and I have complete confidence in Dr. Aljammal's expertise and approach. I am optimistic that, under his care, I will be able to proceed with Radio Frequency Ablation and finally find relief. Dr. Aljammal and his team have provided me with hope and a sense of security in my thyroid journey. I am immensely grateful for their dedication and pioneering work in thyroid treatments. If you're seeking top-notch thyroid care, look no further than Dr. Jules Aljammal and the Thyroid Clinic in Utah.
I called his office to confirm he treated low calcium issues fefoe I wasted my time. His office confirmed he treated calcium disorders. When I got to my appointment and explained why I was there he told me he doesn't treat that. Bessically wasted Mt time, this is after spending a lot of wasted time with Dr. Abraham at Hunstman. Stay clear away from this office.
Terrible Patient Interaction I would never recommend this doctor. He was extremely dismissive, disrespectful, and hates being questioned about anything. I was in an extremely stressful situation of having a biopsy return as suspicious of cancer, and Dr Aljammal treated it as though it was nothing. The moment I informed him I had seen another provider for a 2nd opinion, he pawned me off and said my surgeon would handle my follow up care (which is absolutely not true, and he knows that). I asked him clearly if the surgeon would prescribe medication post-op, because I knew he wouldn’t, and he responded “oh yes he’ll take care of all of that.” Which was a complete lie. He was just upset that I had asked for a 2nd opinion and didn’t want anything to do with me at that point. I also confirmed with my surgeon that he does not do any follow up care, and that Dr Aljammal is aware of that fact. That’s a red flag, if I ever saw one.
I love Dr. Aljammal! I was diagnosed with hashimotos at age 18 and he helped me get back to my normal life. He is such a good doctor and great at answering questions. He explained everything so well and even taught me how to read my own lab sheets. He’s the best and saved my life!
Dr. Aljammal is the best thyroid Dr. I've ever had! He is very thorough! I was told for years I had a thyroid nodule. Dr. Aljammal found that it was actually an enlarged parathyroid nodule and helped me find a great surgeon. He makes sure you understand and ask questions at the appointments. He is very knowledgeable!
Low rating is only due to the receptionist (Mavie and billing (Teresa). Jules is a great doctor. I contacted Teresa to ask questions about a bill. She was extremely rude and was raising her voice through our conversation. She kept talking over me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. I was not understanding the shots they double billed me. She kept saying it to help keep my thyroid level accurate. Which I take pills for my thyroid levels. I even tried to say should I talk to the nurse instead but she was Adamant that's what it was for which it wasn't I figured out later. I sensed an attitude during the conversation and I tried to tell her "I'm not sure if your getting an attitude but I'm not liking how your talking to me" at this she's going crazy and I'm yelling back telling her I want to talk to a manager who Evers above her. And she hung up on me. I called back and she wouldn't answer. I then call the thyroid clinic and speak with Mavie. I explain what just happen and asked " I want to speak with that girls supervisor who Evers above her" Mavie started to automatically get an attitude stating " you are disrespecting Teresa by calling her a girl she's an older women " I laughed and said what should I have said. Mavie says " you should call her women You shouldn't be treating women like that " I told Mavie I wanted Bobby number which is supposed to be the manager. But they say they don't have number and need to email her. I then asked for the nurse. They can't get a hold of the nurse. Then I ask them to please have the doctor call me. One last thing during this conversation Mavie has the nerve to Accuse me of threatening Teresa and that I'm being threatening. I have never been treated this way ever... I'm almost 40. I told Mavie she better go listen to the conversation before she starts Accusing somebody of something they didn't do. I'll be honest if you can't trust the billing department or the front desk to ask, clear up and resolve concerns then it doesn't matter how go the doctor is. Thanks
