Wonderful!I was sent to see Dr. Novak after seeing two others for knee instability and intense pain.The first doctor was useless, and the second realized I needed to see a surgeon asap. My knee had completely dislocated 12 times total and was very unstable.Dr. Novak looked at my imaging and my knee and immediately got me scheduled for an MPFL Reconstruction. Fast forward 4 months, and my knee is back to how it should be after surgery and PT.I cannot reccomend Dr. Novak enough. He is a skilled surgeon and a fantastic doctor. He listened to my complaints and fixed the problem to get me back to living life without knee pain.

I had the Doctor replace my left hip this morning at 7 A.M. I “WALKED” out of the Hospital completely under my own power with just a walker only for safetyTonight just ten hours after my surgery. Very very little pain or discomfort. Yes taking it very easy and being extremely careful.This is my second hip replacement. Did the right hip one year ago. Both times no fluff here almost no serious pain. Yes I can make it hurt but if I’m careful no pain.Dr Novac is by far the absolute best Doctor I have ever been involved with. He has great straight forward kind and informative approach to taking care of you.Now after the surgery I didn’t take any high powered pain pills. Tonight just an Excerdin. Same story last time around.Bottom line don’t put it off if you need a hip replacement. Most important absolutely have Dr Novac do your surgery. He’s in my book the best Doctor I’ve ever been with. It's been three weeks and one day since my total hip replacement. Dr. Novak is a great surgeon. This is my second hip replacement and again it went well. Yes a bit more pain this time around but that's not his fault. Today I was able to put on my socks and cowboy boots without any pain or discomfort. Just three weeks after a major total hip replacement surgery. This guy is one fantastic Doctor. Don't let the whiners influence you with a bad review. I've been there and had the full deal twice. They simply don't come any better in my book than Peter. Fantastic Doctor and one cool guy.

I do not recommend Dr. Novak. As far as empathy and consideration for me (the patient) I was left feeling shocked and confused by how I was treated by him and things he said. I wish I had recorded the conversation because he didn’t put word for word what he had said about my injury in my appointment, in his doctors notes. If you’re seeking a doctor to ignore the pain you’re experiencing and having a difficult time 100% pinpointing and have some sort of irregularity show up in an MRI that the doctor brushes off as no big deal, but want a doctor (who’s suppose to be one of the best) tell you everything is fine structurally not sure why you’re experiencing so much pain... then Dr. Novak is your guy. BUT if you’d like a doctor who has empathy and will say yeah there’s this irregularity and says let us explore more about what may be causing the pain, then Dr. Novak IS NOT your guy. GO FIND A BETTER DOCTOR. Dr. Novak won’t give you answers, you’ll be left felt crazy and confused and worried.
