I was overweight as a child and Dr. Fox was my general practitioner. She didn’t really encourage me to lose weight. Rather she shamed me, never actually sitting down to make a plan. I specifically remember her making jokes about my weight and it caused me deep emotional trauma. Now that I am 20 years old, I look back on my life and my struggle with eating disorders, and I realize that those visits to the doctor patronized me into making regretful decisions. In 7th grade I started to starve myself and then started bingeing and purging. I made myself a great anorexia/bulimia cocktail. And when I came back the next year, obviously losing weight rapidly, she was too out of touch to suspect that I was anorexic. Technically, the practice meets the standard. But Dr. Fox’s people skills and empathy need definite improvement.

Dr. Fox is a very sweet woman! She is very caring and helpful! I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pediatrician! She spends plenty of time with me during each appointment and never makes me feel rushed. The only downside is the front desk staff who are a little rude.

I LOVE Dr. Fox. She is the best pediatrician I can imagine and her nurses are the best nurses, too. They all remember your names and are so friendly, personable, and helpful. I just moved away from Salt Lake and I wish I could take Dr. Fox with me! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I really like this doctor but unfortunately, everything else about my visits to her office were not good. I went 2 or 3 times with my children & each time had to wait about 45 minutes in the waiting room, even though there were very few or no other people waiting. In the exam room we had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes. The front desk staff couldn't find my chart on our second visit. Now, 3 months after my last visit to her, I am getting a bill saying I never paid my copay. My bank statement says otherwise. Dr. Fox herself is knowledgeable & very friendly, but the other factors made it so I will not be returning to her.
