I had Dr. Teja fuse/fix my back at Martha Washington in Charlottesville, VA. in June of 2013. Best doctor I have ever met. He was excellent all through the process. I was so bad I had to use a wheelchair to see Dr. teja. It has been 8 years and I am still great. However, he told me I had degenerative disc. I am now feeling that starting up. I am in Arizona now and I sure wish I could have the VA send me to him. Outstanding doctor, outstanding bedside manners, and he like motorcycles. He always explained EVERYTHING thoroughly.

My husband had a cervical disc replacement by Dr. Teja in 2021. He’s been a pt of both Dr. Teja and his NP Caleb Jackson for the past few months. Both Dr. Teja and Caleb have provided excellent medical advice, treatment plans and final result of surgery for my husband. I’ve worked in hospitals and clinics for years and am quite picky when it comes to pt. care. I was recommended to this office and Dr. Teja by a friend and will definitely recommend to others.

My husband had a great back surgery experience with Dr. Teja a couple years ago, so when it came my time to have may own back procedure I knew exactly who wound be my surgeon. What I didn't know was that my surgery would be five levels! For something that major, obviously I had to have indisputable confidence in not only the doctor's skills, but also in his willingness to patiently listen to my many questions and concerns. Not only is Dr. Teja a brilliant surgeon, he is also a warm, friendly caring person. He is a great listener who thoroughly explains what is happening and carefully offers practical advice on how to take care of my brand new, wonderful back. I am so grateful and I feel so fortunate. On my first visit, Dr. Teja was very friendly and professional, he didn't preassure me into surgery but gave me all the options available to me. He explained the different choices I have and gave me time to decide what would be best for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Teja to anyone looking for a spine doctor.
