we came to shriners hospital in salt lake city for the first time in July of 2020 for my son's scoliosis. Little did we know that in October after an MRI and during a follow up appointment, dr. Pond told us that my son has a tumor on his spine. this hospital and all the people we had dealings with are amazing and we are so thankful beyond words for everything.

My daughter had her third surgery at Shriners recently. Words cannot express how amazing the organization, hospital and employees are at SLC Shriners. They had a quote that said, “Happy kids defy the odds” and I can attest to the fact that Shriners creates an environment that made my child extremely happy. Each time she had surgery, the nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists spent time with her. They made her laugh, remember her interests, and they answered her questions. I also appreciate how innovative Shriners continues to be. We drive 8 hours to have a surgeon that uses the latest advancements to solve for my child’s limb discrepancy. Way to go Shriners SLC! Thank for your creating an environment of happiness and excellence.

This hospital is amazing! Dr Klatt, the nurses and care managers have been so great to our family. My daughter had spinal fusion at Shriners and we will always be grateful to everyone there. She said she actually missed being in the hospital on our last visit.

Thank you Shriners hospital for taking care of our girl! Best care, best hospital and best staff! Dr. Fedorak was so kind and knowledgeable. He really took his time to sit down and help us understand everything. We knew she was in the best hands! Our nurses were all so wonderful. Carolyn was so amazing and helped my daughter and I on a emotional level and helped her to feel some sort of joy while being in a hospital and experiencing something scary. By the end she felt like family! We felt cared for, loved and SAFE! Thank you for caring about her as a patient and as a person!
