List of Todd E Daynes's Reviews
I went to Dr. Daynes to get a second opinion before doing cataract surgery and knew right away that he was the doctor for me. His suggestion for monovision was the perfect answer for me after struggling with other options. I have perfect vision and no need for glasses. I have never had to wait 5 minutes for my appointments. The staff is lovely and professional always. I would recommend Dr. Daynes and am so very glad I decided to go there for a second opinion.
Dr. Daynes is very professional and has a good bedside manner. I would recommend any of my family members to see him! I also heard him speaking Spanish to other patients in the waiting room.
After some scheduling problems the staff at Dr. Daynes in patient surgery were very helpful and kind. They did everything they could to make me comfortable and at ease.
I feel totally disrespected by Dr. Todd Daynes, in patient surgery staff. My surgery is tomorrow but I do not know what time because they not only do not call to tell me , but they do not answer the phone and do not return messages. My daughter who had to take the day off to drive me to St. Marks, has to reschedule all of her clients for this evening and Dr. Daynes staff does not have the courtesy to call.
This is in response to Samantha Anderson review below. This doctor still doesn’t recognize the grave error in his IOL calculations that led to a large over correction of the lens implantS to this day!!. My father In law had to go to the university to have lens exchanges done on both eyes! Not only did Dr. Daynes not recognize the mistake after the first surgery when the patient complained that he could not see anywhere tv or near unless he held the object right up to his nose, the doctor did not re-review his numbers or perform a test Of the refraction to find that he was over corrected by 4 diopters. If he had done that he could have corrected his error before proceeding with second eye surgery. Yet he blew him off and went ahead and proceeded with the same calculation error on the second eye and then of course both eyes couldn’t see and were largely over corrected. Instead of acknowledging that his K calculations were extremely out of range, he just gave us 4 different prescriptions for glasses to be worn for different activities. And from his response below he still has not either discovered or acknowledged that his measurements were extremely out of range! That is the scary part!
Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this doctor. My 79 year old grandpa went in for cataract surgery for each eye, at separate times. After the first and second surgery his vision only improved slightly. Turns out they had they took the wrong measurements and put the wrong lens in both eyes. So my grandpa is left with two choices, have two more surgeries with the correct lens, or wear very strong prescription glasses for the rest of his life. When my mother took my grandpa in, Dr. Daynes never acknowledged it was wrong and informed he wasn’t a candidate for the corrective surgery. Wouldn’t recommend this doctor.
TOP NOTCH. NO PROBLEMS HERE WITH THE GOOD DOC.
Very good visit. Informative.
My experience with Dr. Daynes was not a good one. I have astigmatism and can be very hard to fit for hard contact lens. After over a month and four visits tweaking my prescription the lens Dr. Haynes prescribed are still not working well for me. Durng this time I felt that Dr. Daynes was not receptive to my concerns. I have dealt with eye problems for over 55 years but was made to feel as I did not understand what I was experiencing. I will not return to Dr. Daynes
I am very pleased with Dr. Daynes. He is great! He always answers my questions. I highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
