It took me over 4 weeks to get in to see him but it was worth every second. We quickly developed a treatment plan that was ideal and we made progress rather quickly. He is not like other doctors who "just push pills". I believe his advanced education with a Master's in Public Health in addition to his MD really shows in the quality of care he delivers!

My son was seeing a nurse practitioner for the last year and we went through several medications and we never saw any change in his mood. The medications were expensive and made my son sick. My friend recommended Dr Valles and he asked questions that I never thought about before. We came to the conclusion that it was more of my parenting style and less about medications.

Dr Valles was recommended by another mom on my child's soccer team to help us with behavioral issues. He was quick to help us within the first visit and it only took us a few visits to get our child back on track. A few visits with him was more helpful than three years of therapy.

We thought he was very honest with how we could improve the structure at home to help our daughter. While other providers told us to read a book about how to do it, Dr Valles took the time to explain it. He also made it clear that our daughter's issues were not just about medications.
